He's been playing well. He has bounce and playing with that crazy locked in stare.

He's having fun...finally

His transition game has been outstanding and he is starting to use his first step (which is pretty quick) to get past his defender in a half court set.. For the better part of this season and post Melo trade he would try to do it with the dribble and was going nowhere. He is also shooting off the dribble more which is a very welcome development.

FINALLY! You could tell he's playing with confidence the last 3 or 4 games. Picking his spots on offense, and playing much better defense. High plusminus on the team tonight +29

If only he could hit that corner 3 consistently. Playing with Melo, Amare, Chandler, Davis it would be HUGE. He does look comfortable like the Landry of old. Driving and scoring in transition

yeah, think he finally learned how to play with melo. melo found him on a few cuts to the rim tonight.

glad landry is back.

i have a feeling that when baron starts, landry will stay in the starting lineup and toney and iman will be the speed demon unit off the bench. i'm fine with that. baron shouldn't be playing more than 24 minutes for a while, so it shouldn't take away too many of iman's minutes.

really glad landry is back tho. he was missed.

holy ****: landry has twelve assists the last two games. that's a new wrinkle, i feel like. i never thought of him as an assists guy at all.

Landry Fields is the most versatile (and quite possibly the most intuitive) player on the active roster.

haha - not long

kudos for sticking with him. he looked really good tonight especially going to the basket and defensively. Still would like to see him develop a better shot. I don't think it's anywhere near it needs to be for an average to above average 2-guard

great game for everyone, much needed W.

I really didn't know Fields still had a first step till today since Gallo, Chandler, and Felton were here.
He really got us going and Melo kept feeding him the ball, which he delivered.
Good to see Melo gaining confidence and the rest of the team stepping up as some did last game, but pretty much everyone did today.

Fields also fit in and played well with the 3rd unit as they played cohesive, uptempo basketball, with Lin leading the pack.
Lin had some jitters, but he was the facilitator.
I can see Lin and Jordan having a better bond with each other since being sentenced to the D League and returning to the Novak + Balkster and friends...

he has been playing really well lately he is slowly getting his swagger back, i really hope he starts even when baron comes back it just balances the roster more. He is going to be the glue guy in the first unit, while tone and shumpert can play great d and share with the ball handling duties in the second unit.

Everything is better than at the start of the season. I'm surprised his rebounding isn't the near where it was in the 1st half of last year though.

Landry-liscious

A jump shot is the easiest thing to improve. Like height, you cannot teach basketball intuition.

I like what he's doing, but i really want to see an improvement from his outside shooting. He still is not where he was last season in both shooting and rebounding, the 2 things he excelled at.

Its good to talk positively about a guy. IMHO dude just wasn't competing up until the last 4-5 games....that's why I made that FU thread....I still think he's soft but he's finally clicked that switch. I'm glad now we can focus our energy on moving forward and playingbn real team ball
