Nicknamed the Queen City, Charlotte and its resident county are named in honor of Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, who had become queen consort of British King George III the year before the city's founding. A second nickname derives from the American Revolutionary War, when British commander General Cornwallis occupied the city but was driven out by hostile residents, prompting him to write that Charlotte was "a hornet's nest of rebellion," leading to the nickname The Hornet's Nest.

You know, as far as queens go, this one is not too bad.

I'd be happy to see 5 minutes! I was really hoping for this when I got tickets!

Maybe Lin also. I hope they sent him to play a game to guage his game and ready him for some time.

Im hoping a few day of practice and Melo humbled into passing more yields a better result.

Interesting to note that Diaw has been held scoreless twice in his last 13 games and only has three games with at least 10 points in that time. Two of them are against the Knicks.
