Ok, hear me out over here. This team has been in the dumps for what seems like ever. Yet it does have a passionate and intelligent fan base that have been through it all. Now with the new additions and the new look of this team we have had so many people jump on the bandwagon only to start throwing up at the first sign of motion sickness. Is the ride too bumpy for you? Too f@cking bad. It's not pleasant seeing all this negative stuff 12 games into the damn season. I know, I know we go through this every year, just that this year its extra. I totally understand the way nixluva feels. We have had enough "gloom and doom" crew already. This year brought more expectations ,understandably, brought extra fans and now extra poop flinging , 12GAMES INTO THE SEASON. Chill out people, go smoke some weed, have some drinks do whatever you need to do. Let's get back to this at least half way into the season, preferrably after our playoff run....................

It seems like the comments are too bumpy for you. You're the one more affected by the comments than the team itself.

Everyone has a right to an opinion. Take a chill pill, sit down, relax, have a whiskey and let people be people and express their feelings and frustrations without trying to police their thoughts.

Are you allergic? I had a friend who said he was allergic but really it was because he couldn't handle the mind trip.

Nah, nothing is too bumpy for me. If its justified I gladly take part in discussing our problems and ways to fix it. If its not justified well then I just make a note of whose opinions I should take with a grain of salt . However when all hell breaks loose 12 games in, with no training camp, summer league or preseason and the discussion becomes silly , I will not quote some of the stuff posted over the last days it just seems unwarranted. So I ask if others feel simular. I understand your view on the matter, tho "good day to you sir"

The worse thing about this year hs been the complete over-reaction of some fans- like you said we're only 12 games into a lockout shortened season AND ironically, we actually have a better record than we did 12 games into last year! And for all the praising of Denver and how great they are, we've only actually lost ONE more game than they have.

Reading these boards you'd think it was the end of the world.

Who are these people and where have they been hiding?

Does this mean martin and andrew can take the rest of the winter off from whatever it is they do? Do we only post in the O/T forum about Occupy Boca Raton until the playoffs?

What about Melo vs Stat? What about Gallo? What about trading Melo/STAT/Tyson for Wilson/Felton/Moz?

I don't know if it is the worst time to be a Knicks fan, but it certainly isn't the best. The best time was Isiah Thomas era. Isiah just had a flair for entertainment and assembled an excellent cast for the Greatest Show on Earth at the World's Most Famous Arena.

The peak year was 2007 - "The Summer of Marbs" (which, coincidentally, had quite a lot to do with weed AFIK). That was back in 2007 (hard to believe it was four and a half years ago) We had Marbury on Mike'd Up & the sexual harassment trial, an intern getting into Marbury's truck, Marbury refusing to get on the plane, Marbury & Isiah's public breakup, etc. Lots of basketball stuff to talk about - unlike now, where all we can talk about is wins and losses, the coach, players, etc.

Basketball just isn't what it used to be.

I miss Fred Jones.

Lol, ok if you put it like that. I completely forgot about trading Melo/Chandler/Stat for Felton/Wilson/Gallon

I think what really bugs the UK mafia is that we're all in now. No excuses. We've exhausted almost all resources to strengthen the team, yet we come out with the same, if not worse, result than we did pre-melo last year. Back then, it was bearable with the prospect of constant improvement from the yoots - without using assets to acquire better talent, we would still become better with time.

BUT, our backcourt can only improve from what it is now. And we're only 12 games in as u point out, ram. So that's at least something to hold on to.

I agree. It is pretty frustrating. I also don't think management did D'Antoni any favors. Any coach needs a point guard, D'Antoni desperately needs one to run the offense he wants to run. If the organization is committed to him as a coach they needed to get him a point guard. I am the first, second and third guy in line to criticize D'Antoni but I don't think he was put in a situation where he can succeed this year. The Knicks got very lucky that Baron ended up signing in NY. Hopefully when he gets back on the court things start going better.
