Hope is not a strategy, Douglas needs to be benched. I don't care if it means Balkman is our starting PG, he can scarcely do worse.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Nah, you gotta start Lin and to hell with it, whatever happens.

Douglas is dangerous when he is knocking threes down from the two.

He can't guard any twos, and he can't guard any 1s with speed. Douglas is a scrub that had some good games because we were forced to start him for almost half the season.

I don't think I've seen a SG crossed up so many time as Fields was against GS. He fell like 3 or 4 times. His footwork or anticipation is atrocious.

^Oh! So it was him falling down all the time? He literally rocked the floor last night.

Landry really isn't a shooting guard. He's a small forward. He should be backing up Melo, but we have no guard depth.

It's a real shame Iman got injured, because I was hoping he could start at SG.

Landry against Kobe tonight is not going to be pretty. Expect to see a lot of Bill Walker. Which will also not be pretty.

exactly Lin should start tonight! I would pull Rick Brunson out of retirement and start him over Douglas tonight!

It just sunk in for me how tough this schedule is. Will anyone even be walking by the playoffs? Maybe they will all be in wheelchairs.

Absolutely, why not throw him out there and see what happens? At least give him more than 1 minute.

Schedule is super easy early on after the Lakers. Good time to win games while getting the team to gel

True, teams are easy. But the games are on top of each other, crammed together.

Both guys are being asked to do too much. They are both ideal backups not starters.

Douglas off the bench as a scorer would be solid for us. Fields backing up the SF spot would be solid too. Douglas/Fields as playmakers is a turnover waiting to happen.

And how many times is Fields gonna toss a lazy cross-court pass in the direct path of multiple defenders? My god that's awful.

I hate that ****ing skip pass. They actually teach that in HS. Drives me crazy. I keep telling my son and daughter that if I were playing and somebody did that, I would have a lot of steals cause that is the easiest pass to intercept.

so I have mental picture of a Philippine guy sitting on his couch in boxes telling his kids about playing basketball, "So of course I'd have to put shorts on and not be in super comfy mode, but I'd NEVER, EVER make a skip pass like that. You 2 taking notes? Pass the snacks please."

So which quarter do you think we'll be outscored by 20 points? These stinker-quarters seem to have been compulsary since last season!

Hopefully this game will be fun to watch- so far only the Boston one has been (despite the 3rd Q)- the 2 Net preseason ones, and the Golden state one were really tough to endure...
