CP3/Billups, Griffin/Jordan Damn! Didn't see the game but there were ALOT of highlights from this one.....and they were all from the Clips. This team is looking sick. Don't know how many games they'll win but they are definitely going to be filling up the highlight reels.

I saw that also.. they will win a LOT of games. Their backcourt is fantastic, might be the best and they have one of the most athletic frontcourts around. Like everyone they are thin after the starters but their starting 5 and total roster spells a top 3 seed to me. That team is going to start fast and finish strong

I wanted Deandre Jordan 2 years ago. Guess it doesnt matter since he would have been traded to Denver anyway.

As far as Lob City? Barron Davis is still the man. But to CP3's credit, he looked quick and fresh out there....Steals, fast breaks and layups.

Blake Griffin will get exposed this year....Until he finds a jumper or a 1on1 move. He couldn't get pass Gasol in half court, without shooting a fadeaway brick. The other big dude (D.Jordan) only shoots in the paint, so the paint is very crowded in half court sets.

What makes this team solid is the amount of guards and small lineups they will put out there...All 5+ guards (CP3, Billups, Mo Williams, Foye, etc...) are quick, can drive and shoot from all ranges. There will be lots of fast breaks and alley oop attempts....But still, from what I can see, nobody will have the Lob City highlights like BD had as a Clipper.

They will play a run and gun style....Lots of 3 pt shots. On defense is where they will get exposed, playing those two or three PG lineups....

CP3 and Billups backcourt is awesome until they face a big guard that can post. Then again, not a lot of them out there.

Blake Griffin get exposed? The guy has EXCELLENT hands with great touch around the rim. His jumper will come on. It's not like he will be shooting off the dribble anyway.

I saw the second half of the game...CP3 is a very smart player...He really understands the game...Billups fits really well at the two...He sits and knock down open shots all day..Clips are going to be scary this year...I stop shot of saying they could win the west because the playoffs are just another animal...Lakers are old and have no sizzle...Clippers/OKC will be nuts...

Also they are deep...They have names on the bench like Foye, Mo Williams, Gomes...They can make noise this year..Gelling will be easier for them because Paul is running the show...Gonna be run to watch...

Del Negro is one lucky dude.

He did a good job in ChiTown but his anger got the best of him. (note to self, don't try to fight your boss!).

Gets the gig most think is a lost cause with Clips but he is in a position to do very well.

They should contend.

It wass a good game. Billups shot well.
I'm glad we didn't go for Darius Morris.
McRoberts looked good with the Lakers
Jordan, as we know, is a beast.
But when he was out of the game, the Lakers were able to take advantage.
Blkexec is right, Blake couldn't do anything face up wise.

I agree. I think if anything CP3 is going to elevate Griffin's game. Paul also knows how to run the point in a half court set, not just a fastbreak PG. Griffin hasn't been in the league long, he will only get better.

yea... Blake's gonna get exposed. Like Amare did after his rookie year, only Blake is a better player at the same point in his career.

I would take that roster... the Clippers are probably have the best starting 5 in the NBA. Who is better? (assuming Caron Butler is his former self, so far looks that way)

The reloaded Clips ran amok on the Laklers last night, and I had a ball watching that game.

That Clippers lineup look like they've been playing longer that a week together, and are meshing well so far.

Now lwt's see how long it takes for the Lakers to knee-jerk react and up the ante on that D12 deal, ading Pau and Bynum as Orlando wants.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Blake is gonna be exposed?

That deserves a " come on man"

With Paul and Billups in backcourt middle opens up even more

Blake's points might go down a bit but he will best this year for sure!

KNICKS on the way UP!!!

Don't know why they wouldn't. Kobe, Pau, Bynum ain't gonna nowhere past WCF.

With the holes in that lineup, I'd doubt they'd even make it that far. Last year, thery were swept in round 2. Now thye have no Odom, no Phil, and no chance of returning to their former glory anytime soon.

Also, with the Clips getting all of the limelight in LA right now, the Lakers will want to make a splash sooner than later. They need a major shakup- one bigger than trading Odom for an TPE.

The Lakers can still get a lethal combo by getting Dwight now, and waiting until the summer to sign Deron away from the Nyets. That will add some spice to that newly recharged LAL/LAC rivalry.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
