I was reading an old Penthouse w some chick who got Mike Irvin busted. Then **** started shaking.
Brooklyn was swinging!
Where were you cats? Eny, are you driving a subway?

lol, never experienced anything like this. being in a swaying building is really an eye opener. this is coming from south jersey. how was it in nyc? can imagine it was worse with the skyscrapers.

work not too far from DC... work on the 5th floor, felt like if it kept going the building was gonna fall over. they told us to go home. cant say i would go on that ride again.

I was swimming laps and missed it. It's the second damn time I have missed a quake in NY. Didn't feel it at all. Maybe there were a few extra ripples in the pool.

I work in the Empire State Building on the 47th Floor. Felt really weird. I thought I was just light headed or something at first. Then I realized the building was moving. We have an office in Maryland and they said it was pretty intense.

It was said in the news that a quake of that magnitude hadn't happened in more than 100 years. Where I live, we almost never have tornadoes, yet we have had a few, along with a few other climate anomalies. I know its probably silly but everytime something weird like that happens, can't help but think on movies like The Day after Tomorrow and 2012. Whatever the case, the planet has been acting strange recently.

I didn't even feel the shaking so I was pretty dissapointed. I was in the bathroom at work and walk out and suddenly, the first thing someone said to me was by this girl: "Am I retarded or did I feel shaking?"... I said "No, but it happens" and yelled at her for saying that. Then other people started saying they felt it, so I said "Maybe it's an earthquake. We supposedly get tiny ones." Then of course my manager, who likes to think all people except himself are dumb as sheot, goes up to those very people and said "It was a big truck."
