The opening act was an undistinguished roots-rock band, J D and the Straight Shot. Soozie Tyrell on fiddle and Charlie Drayton on drums were among the well-known sidemen backing a karaoke-grade singer; J D is James L. Dolan, better known as the chief executive of Cablevision Entertainment. He smiled with self-satisfaction through a jokey song about his business, “Fix the Knicks,” rhyming “promise” and “Isiah Thomas” and observing, “They score a lot of points but where’s the defense?” His musical talents are unlikely to endanger his day job.

Slightly catchy song, but terrible.... haha, this guy is so clueless it's funny. I like how there was a resounding groan when Isiah Thomas was mentioned. Classic.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Who would be the heir apparent should JD meet with some unfortunate accident, like his amplifier blows up or he accidently slits his wrist on his guitar strings...?

It's amazing how smug and conceited this guy is. On second thought, it really isn't.

Thank you James Dolan for causing me to vomit on my laptop.

Quban is a type of kid who is collecting toys, lining them up, likes to show that his toys are the best.
Dolan is a kind of spoiled child who likes to smash his toys to the wall and get new once, get the agliest once and play the Villan...

To complain about the sports team you own to this bland soundtrack has to be the opposite of real blues music, it's an insult.

Dolan singing heavy metal would've been far better. I want to hear the growls.

I'd like this thread to be deleted. Hearing Dolan bitch about the fans (Which is essentially what he's doing in that song) is just a punch in the gut. I can't believe he has what seems to be, such a large venue. Yuck.

He was the opening act for Aretha Franklin. Nobody came to see him.

He was the opening act.

Actually, if the team would be a winning franchise the guy might actually be likable.

To be fair, its the losing part that really makes me hate him. His decisions are freaking awful.

I always liked cuban, but his buddy Jerry Jones makes me want to puke at times. Dolan is a low key moron. Jones and far worse, Al Davis are the worst kind. They think they know what they are doing but really don't (anymore) Jones won when he had football people running this team (not him) and Davis won when he he still had a functioning brain.
