Frank Williams:

Manhunt Monday 6/20/2011: Frank Williams

By WEEK Reporter
June 20, 2011 Updated Jun 20, 2011 at 9:53 PM CDT

This week's feature alleged fugitive is 31 year old Frank Lowell Williams.

The Sheriff's office says Williams is wanted for possession of cannabis and have a no bond warrant.

Williams is a well know face to many in Peoria. He played basketball for Manual High school in the late 90's and was named the 1998 Illinois Mr. Basketball.

He then played for the University of Illinois and was named Big Ten Player of the year in 2001.

He has been on several NBA teams but only played sparingly. He last played in Argentina in 2010.

In June 2009, Williams was arrested at his home in West Peoria on drug possession...but never appeared in court. His last known address is 106 North Cedar in West Peoria. He also has resided in Vernon Hills, Illinois.

He is described as being six-feet two-inches and 215-pounds and is bald.

If you have any information, please call the Sheriff's office at (309) 697-7846.

Qyntel Woods:

Woods signed a two-year contract with Greek league team Olympiacos on July 16, 2007.[2] In 10 appearances in the regular season, he averaged 12.5 points per game in 26.3 minutes per game. In 2007-08's playoffs, his numbers went down (8.1 points, 2.1 rebounds, in 20.7 minutes per game).

Woods was caught using marijuana during the Greek finals, and thus committed a breach of his contract, which led to Olympiacos terminating the final year of his deal. Subsequently, he signed with the Italian league's Fortitudo Pallacanestro Bologna after being released by Olympiacos.

He played with Asseco Prokom Gdynia in Poland, where he contributed to their seventh straight national championship.

In November 2010 he signed a one-year contract with the Russian club BC Krasnye Krylya Samara, but he was waived in December because of unsatisfactory performance.

On January 30, 2011 he returned to play for Asseco Prokom Gdynia with whom he spent his best years in Europe . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qyntel_Woods

Michael Doleac had a decent little NBA career:

  • Named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 1999.
  • Won a championship with the Miami Heat (2006, backing up Shaquille O'Neal.)
  • Retired in 2008 as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves
  • Became a graduate manager for the University of Utah men's basketball team in 2009.

sad to hear about frank williams... he was a very good college player and he never quite translated his game to the nba. those guys always seem to be the ones in the news for drugs and other things for whatever the reason.

glad to hear that Q has had some successful seasons overseas and that doleac has retired and since earned his graduate degree. i'd honestly love to know what rick brunson is doing right now....

Or maybe not.

Possibly the latest news available on Spree:

The Milwaukee, Wisconsin native was last known to be battling debt and laying low in Milwaukee. In 2009, his house went up for foreclosure and he had to sell his $1.3 million yacht to help make payments on the boat. Spree still owed the bank $500,000 and was then later accused in New York with assaulting his girlfriend in front of his children. Since then he has been facing a $200 million lawsuit from his girlfriend as well as another foreclosed home. What happened to “I got a family to feed?” I bet he is wishing he accepted that three year, $21 million deal from the T’Wolves right about now. http://thehoopdoctors.com/online2/2010/11/latrell-sprewell-is-in-your-face-and-bankrupt/

THe saddest part is that instead of swallowing his pride and coming back that following season for $2-$3 million, he decided to sit at home. He lost out on about $10 million in salary that he could have gotten at the end of his career.
