Quite possibly one of the most overhyped/overrated young Euro Prospect of our generation. I mean it was mind numbing desire during the 09' draft for this kid. I remember discussing this with a poster by the name of Kos. I said if he's as great as advertised he should tear up the Euroleague the next 2yrs since he's been competing over there since about 15yrs old. Far from it

to call rubio a scrub before he even steps foot in an nba arena is extremely short-sighted. i'm in no way calling rubio a can't miss prospect, but from when i've seen him play in the world events, i saw the makings of a very good nba point-guard. is he there yet? no. will he ever be? who knows. the kid won't be 21 til october and has dazzling court-vision, speed and ball-handling ability. can he d up? his defense was shoddy and he's on the smaller side. can he shoot? his j sucked and so did his form (too many line drives) when i saw him and i was hoping he'd have improved that by now but who knows what kind of coaching he's getting at barcelona. if this kid ever develops a jumper he'll be top PG in the nba, easy.
