I did hear Chauncey Billups endorse Larry Brown and I heard Melo endorse himself as a de facto GM. But Melo endorse Mike. Never happened

Still trying to figure out how some in media interpreted Melo's evasive comments about D'Antoni as him endorsing the coach

I'm still trippin over D'AnToni dissing Rondo saying if he played for the Wolves he wouldn't look good. I wonder if some asked D'AnToni if he coached the Wolves what would their record be? Oh wait they don't have to look at what he did the previous 2yrs here. Stache still isn't humble enough of a man to do the right thing and do right by this team.

I don't care for Dantoni too much but he is right, Rondo is playing with 3 hall of famers and has no jump shot he would not be putting up those assist numbers if he wasn't playing with all time greats.

Rondo has been doing this since 2007. Why not look at the 35 or so playoff games he's been in and you know don't give him so much room off the ball to operate. He averaged a triple double across 2 series without Garnett.

D'AnToni has been crap without Nash so what is he trying to prove by saying this?

I think Mike D'antoni should have been more concerned about stopping Rondo's dribble penetration throughout the series' entirety instead of personal attacks on a legitimate PG in this league.

Wow, MDA is such a turd. Thats like telling Jordan: "Hey, If you couldn't shoot the ball like you can you would not look so good." wtf kind of logic is that? Rondo was drafted by Celtics and learned to play with 3 HOF. . . How about this "MDA, if I knew where you lived, I'd wrap some poop in a newspaper, light it on fire , put it outside your door and ring the door bell. Then I'd go hide in the bushes and watch." Thats for embarrassing my team with your coaching and for contunuing to embarras us with your stupid comments.

OH Boy! F Rondo! He does a great job of doing what he does for his team, but it's not like he's D. Rose and has to carry a team with less offensive talent. He can go what he does best which isn't scoring. I like him but let's not make Rondo out to be more than he is. Passing to 3 HOF'ers has a way of helping a PG to look a lot better. Seriously if you can't understand that then what can anyone say?

Yeah, he isn't as good as he looks on the Celtics, but damned if I wouldn't take him on the Knicks compared to what we had in the playoffs this year. He breaks down defenses amazingly. Too bad he can't shoot. I wonder how much better a shooter Rubio is than Rondo.

No Rondo was drafted by Phx with D'AnToni playing pseudo GM and traded him to the Celtics so they could swing what would essentially be like a 3 way deal 4 separate transactions between the Cs/Wolves/Blazers(Roy/Foye/Telfair).

And LMFAO I went back to look at their drafts since 2006. Phx had 2 1rst round picks 21 and 27 drafted Rondo and Sergio no bigs only to trade them away for cash and 1 future 1rst(which they flipped again I think Shaq trade) then dished out extensions to Diaw and Barbosa in the summer. Following draft 3 guards Rudy Fernandez, Alando Tucker, and D.J. Strawberry(2007) for cash not a big...the following draft(2008) D'Antoni quit probably put in the work to scout Dragic another guard and they finally went with drafting a big Robin Lopez their lotto pick....LMFAO again

Did Nash have offensive talent around him?

If we let Billups go and hand the keys to Douglas sign someone the caliber of Chandler should we keep Douglas in his place if he drops 20ast on someone?

Anytime someone brings up D'Antoni coaching the league mvp and three all stars in Phoenix and still not getting to the finals you find away to praise him. Coaching the mvp plus three all stars tends to make a coach look good and covers up a lot of his flaws. Rondo is a tremendous talent. You can't deny that and he has won a championship running the point for his team. Rondo has tremendous physical gifts including gigantic hands. He might not win a title if his roster was changed but I guarantee he makes any team in the league better and he continues to experience personal success as well.

I never said that passing to 3 HOF doesn't make him look better. I said that you can't say "If such and such wasn't such and such then this would not happen". That is completely irrelevant. "If Jordan didn't shoot that well he wouldn't be the best ball player ever." Wow thats really insightful. Point is that Rondo does play with 3 HOF's, Jordan did shoot that well and MDA is a turd for taking a shot at Rondo after an embarrassing job in the playoffs. Notice how I didn't say we were embarrassed by the Celtics, because we weren't. (Injuries played a major role why we weren't embarrassed) We were embarrassed by our coach and he continues to embarrass us after the fact as well.

I don't blame mike. rondo should cut half of his paycheck and send it to pierce, Allen and Garnett.. other than quickness, the guy is a predictable passer, he has those weird and old 1959 fakes, can't shoot at all, can't hit Ft's.... put him on the wolves and we see a different player for sure..

As long as D'AnToni cuts his $24mil 4yrs here in half and give it to Nash I'm in 50% agreement.

Then cut what's left of his 50% in half and give it to Amar'e and I'm in 25% agreement.

Y'all think that bringing up every angle or shread of MDA uncertainty will ultimately somehow convince anyone of any authority that MDA should be fired?

This not going to be done in public what melo thinks.

Rondo was traded cuz they had nash. Whoa!

But Nash had back problems and was a sieve on defense. Drafting Rondo they both are the alter of what the other lacks. Rondo could have become a trading chip too. Fans this year were co-signing a Felton/Douglas....Billups/Douglas backcourt

Funny how things get rationalized in the minds before and after pending results.... because when Zeke made this move....

It was so crazy fans thought it just might work.

But Rondo and Nash 2 fundamentally sound point guards have zero chance of working
