Two games in a row now in critical offensive situations, Jared Jeffries is on the floor. Am I missing something here? The guy can barely make a layup without tripping over himself. C'mon now you have to know that this is a very bad idea

He gave them so much defensively, but in the final minute you have to go offense/defense and after a timeout like that, there's no way you can have him on the floor. If that was Shawne Williams or Turiaf we go ahead.

He hit a go ahead basket. Dude was playing hard. Turiaf was limping.

I don't see Willis Reed coming thru the door........

Two allstars out of starting line up. I thought the team did an hell of a job and MDA coached well.

The trade off was too great for Jeffries to be on the floor at that time, we aren't talking about Ben Wallace or Dennis Rodman here.

Like Al Trautwig said- you gotta know when to leave the table. You gambled and won once, but don't keep pushing your luck. The guy is what he is. He can't hold onto the ball.

Simple offense defense substitution in a one shot situation. You need one FG, you gotta get your best offensive players on the floor. Jeffries is without a shadow of a doubt, the worst offensive player in the NBA and has been for about 5-6 years now.

Shawne Williams. You have 4 shooters out there so the open man gets a look.

Jeffries was most likely in because of his improbable layup on the previous play. But I agree, ridiculously obvious situation to make an offense/defense sub in. Fish lips is a known catastrophe handling the rock. He cost us a chance to win the game.

I cringe every time Jefferies has the ball because I know 95% of the time nothing good can come of it.

Correction, he earned his playing time. But down 1, he does not belong on the floor. THey were doubling off of him, you can't double off of shawne. Derrick Brown goes up hard on that one, Sheldon or Ronnie goes up hard.

The guy literally drops the ball every other possesion. I said on the game thread about 5 times he was playing the best game I've ever seen him play. But for a one offensive possesion game, even with 2 starters injuried, there is no way he is ever in your best 5 for that play.

You know Melo is gonna be doubled. Who do you think they are gonna leave open? The guy may not even make 2 FT's if he gets fouled.

Like I said when we acquired him, "We've seen this movie before." Bobble pass or missing a point blank layup he just can't be on the floor.

Couldn't agree more. I'm screaming at the televiosn to get Jeffries out of there and get Williams in. Theres no excuse for this especially coming off of a timeout.
