They hate Carmelo. They want badly to see Denver thrive and Knicks fail.

They continue to say the Knicks don't play any defense even after last nights impressive display.

Everyone thinks the call agaist Melo was a good call and the no call on KG was as well.

They want us to fail.

No one gives us a shot to win.

After the game Melo said guys are excited to play on tuesday.

Amare and Melo and the rest of the team sound like they expect to win. They dont sound like they blew their load. They sound like they knew they shouldve won last night, and plan on winning on tuesday.

I'm so ****ing pumped!!! No one gives us a chance to win. Refs dont respect Melo. We have to play like its us against the world!!

NY Sports Radio was much better.

HA!

I never said any of that ****. I want both teams to win and the lack of defense don't bother me!

I like MDA, and don't dislike Melo.

I thought the team played very well last nite!

It annoys me to no end how many of the articles I read said that TD tripped. HE WAS TRIPPED!!! There's a difference dammit!!

But when it's all said and done, I agree with Melo's comment at the post game...something to the effect of "Don't let the game tonight lose us the game tomorrow" and as much as the media is painting it as being a devastating loss and how the locker room was dismayed...I didn't get that feeling at all from MDA, Amare or Melo's postgame. If anything it seemed like they were pumped and ready to go so screw ESPN & the media. They never give this team any credit nor will they and I'm not enough of a masochist to hope or even care to wait around until they do.

I like our team and I could care less about what they think our chances are. I'm pretty confident they Knicks will pull this series out.

Run more, the C's were clearly exhausted last night and even their attempt to shut us down in the 3rd didn't work, we absorbed it and didn't let it get us down. And in the 4th play smart and keep sharing the ball!
Don't let them get offensive rebounds!!!
Landry- you don't even have to score a point just keep doing what u did to Ray Allen in the 1st half for a whole game.
Melo- you DO have to score more than one basket in the 4th and they don't all need to be from the perimeter...DRIVE
Amare- :D keep doing what u do

Sound like some guys in this forum...Those ESPN dudes are frontrunners..They climb the bandwagon, I'm not worried..I'm so pumped...I think we have a team or starting to build towards something...We can beat these guys...We have the two best players on the court...We have to make stops and execute of offense...I think we are letting them off the hook by taking long threes...We have two dynamic players that's tough to guard...we can get them in foul trouble..Adjustments!!!

Man, last time I felt like this about the Knicks was in the 90s(last meaningful playoffs...I thought the passion was gone...I'm yelling at the TV again...How you guys can watch these games in bars is beyond me...Too much distraction...Got to go..have to watch the 4th qt. again...

you know...was thinking about this and it's not like we've done anything yet. I mean our play was ok after the trade, our record is ok, we have holes to fill, we play no defense....but we have 2 allstars signed long term and in their prime....

It's time to make some noize boyz...can't fault espn for not giving us props yet, but this is only the first playoff appearance in what is likely to be a good 5 yr run for us....they will pay attention after we do something.Look what Chicago had to do to get some love....they were tough as nails in the playoffs last year, and this year they are the top seed, have the league MVP and play great defense....

The funny thing is that I was so pumped and into it that I pulled a stomach muscle jumping and punching in the air! HA! i haven't done that in so many years and my body was like "WHAT THE HELL?" I do believe the Knicks playing so much better than the C's for so much of the game gives them a ton of confidence, cuz they know that they didn't play their best game yesterday. Melo, Fields and TD are gonna be chomping at the bit to get another shot at the C's.

I wasn't too happy with any of the Media reaction to the Knicks. It's OK. The Knicks are gonna earn their respect in this series. The Media fully expects the Knicks to fold and for the C's to just keep winning close games with guile and rough tactics. I think the Knicks are gonna ramp up the effort level, cuz I think they've got another gear they can go to and I don't believe the C's have the ability to consistently do that.

No question he was tripped, but is it a foul if the screen is legal and the covering PG just trips over the extended foot of the screener? I mean, it looked like KG tripped him, but there's no doubt that KG's foot was planted BEFORE Toney tripped on it. I was talking with my son about it during the game and we didn't know the rules regarding trips. Anyone?

Totally illegal..he was moving and was not set when he tripped him and also extended his hands to push him to floor. Definite Foul.

Michael Kay was saying the Knicks have no chance to beat the Celtics which is really mind boggeling, ESPN can go straight to hell and Charles Barkley said Melo isn't in the military so he should stop trying to be a hero and he also said that was a good foul call on Melo and then said Melo fouled Pierce on the next play, Barkley needs to shut the hell up , he's the same moron that said the Nets would make the playoffs and the Knicks wouldn't.

ESPN? Who gives a **** what they say? Wwhat CNBC is to the stock market, ESPN is to sport. A bunch of people who should know better but who let their ego get the better of their judgement. These guys hate us, I love it. It's what I would use to motivate the players, go prove them wrong. How sweet would it be if someone serves crow to Barkley on national TV?
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Barkley is an idiot..acts like we didn't watch him play as a SUN...so what was he doing when he was shooting last second pull up 3s as a Sun.

It was such an obvious trip that it doesn't need to be discussed. We got f'd. But we should have put the game away earlier. It was horrible watching the misses. It wasn't just solid D...the shots just weren't falling. It wasn't Butler bad, but we should have put that away earlier in the 4th. End of story.

You can call it a trip but I see a forearm shiver too.

Whatever you call it, it's a moving screen.

ESPN hates us, and I hate them too.
