Comes right after their first playoff win. We can all but assure Marc Gasol gets a new deal from them. $66mil fully guaranteed with $1.3mil in bonuses each year goals are met on incentives. Player Option year 4....... But But But I thought the Grizz didn't have any money?

Amar'e statistically but Zach proved to have as great of impact if not more than Amar'e on his team. Zach's game has evolved some in that it is more team oriented but it took a structure and overall team disciplining to get him there. Some players need complete structure and not what you would call organized chaos.

Both players are a result of the coach's philosophy. Zach was always a good player, just a knuckle head in his off time. If we had Z-bo now, he would still be the monster on the boards that he's always been. A'mare is picking up his game for the playoffs and showing the rebounding. For Zack, it's just another day.

Randolph is awesome. The Knicks should get him.

Randolph has proven he wasnt the problem in NY. Curry was the problem.

Randolph and Gasol regularly grab 20+ rebounds between them.

Smart move for Memphis sinc they have a hard time scoring. Randolph would be a beast next to Dwight Howard.

They were in talks and progressing several weeks before the season ended. I think it's more of a motivation ride the high/momentum into the rest of the series for him and them. They do have a melting pot/diversified good professional team that plays hard

He's a Top 5 power forward in the league and should be compensated as one.

Randolph is a really good player. He needs the right situation around him. He's elite at his position. Scoring in the post is like a lost art.

Numbers are Numbers

Amare has a slight edge if you look them up. Zach was 20/12 Amar'e was 25/8. Both 50%fg Amar'e better in blks/ast/fta/ft%/3pt%/PER but like I said Zach's impact was huge. He was carrying his team down the stretch while Amar'e was fading. No biggie Zach got himself together getting back to being a winning type player good for him.
