KVH might be traded because he only played 12 minutes last night. No injury nor was he really missing shots or playing bad defense ( HE NEVER HAD THE CHANCE ) I must admit i'm a little worried because a significant move would disrupt the chemistry !! I think you should think about it first zeke
What does DICK CHANEY & DON CHANEY have in common ?? They both accidentally fell into a job they don't deserve & really suck at doing it !!!! Both need to be fired !!!

i thought van horn was'nt playing becuase he was in foul trouble? also, i heard isaih is sticking him with the untouchable label with marbury and houston. i think they are showcasing thomas for a deal for wallace. by the way, wallace looked great yesterday against the sonics but they did play the no defense playing sonics.

Uh-oh!! Is that K9 whining in his lil' ol' doghouse over his buddy KVH? LMAO!!!

Damn right KVH may get traded. Hopefully he'll be a major piece in a deal that can bolster our front line. Yeah he can score and get a few boards, but I'd have no prob with shipping his turnover-prone, silly-foul-prone, No-D-playing, opposing-players-lick-their-chops-when-he's-defending-them, consistently inconsistent ass the hell up outta here.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Artest has had his BEST season so far this year. That said, then the answer to your question is NO.

Hardcore,

Can you accept KVH on a winning knick team?

and if the team wins, then why be hating him? He obviously plays well in this system.

As much as you want sheed, I'd be surprised if Portland takes him in a trade due to the money KVH is signed for. Our best chance for Sheed is for him to take the MLE. Thomas and KVH for Sheed is alot, unless your doing it to remove KVH from the books. Thomas is too high a price.

WHy not just root for KVH to continue his progress. He has been a PIECE of the knick success the last few weeks. Marbury cannot win alone.

Its good our team is strong enough to have KVH sit if the team is playing well without him. But that does not happen each nite. The clips could not stop Step, but there are teams that will double him up top, and KVH is valuable in many situations against many teams.

Could some also say REAL fans are more interested in the team as a whole than individual players.

Yes, if he's not a first, second or third option and if he was getting half of that max contract.

and if the team wins, then why be hating him? He obviously plays well in this system.
He has yet to do enough that would convince me that KVH will finally break away from the pattern of inconsistency that has plagued him the last 3 years.

If we can get Sheed via the MLE (which IMO is a longshot), then let's do it. I wouldn't mind keeping KT here. If it doesn't happen by the deadline, then KVH and/or Allan gotta go in the offseason. Isiah wants more athletic players here. He wants better decisionmakers. He wants players that aren't so 1-dimensional that if their shot isn't falling, then they are no damn good to us. KVH and Allan make too much money for them to be associated with that criteria.

WHy not just root for KVH to continue his progress. He has been a PIECE of the knick success the last few weeks. Marbury cannot win alone.
I do root for him. I want him do play his ass off while he's here so we can get more out of his (hopefully) higher trade value. I have said this several times on this board.

Its good our team is strong enough to have KVH sit if the team is playing well without him. But that does not happen each nite. The clips could not stop Step, but there are teams that will double him up top, and KVH is valuable in many situations against many teams.
His lack of defense and worthwhile defensive decisionmaking has and still can cost us games.

Could some also say REAL fans are more interested in the team as a whole than individual players.
REAL fans can also open a thread that is focused on one player. Other folks can then participate in the discussion. I believe that's how the furum thing goes regarding any topic.

No matter how much they crave for attention by saying backwards-ass stuff all the time. Yeah, we know.

That coming from one of the "highly touted, much respected" (LOL!) postas on this board who got banned and, before begging for his name back, had to spew his talk via another name. LMMFAO atcha!

No, you need it from everyone on the board! Hahaha!!

OK so the mods know who stirs the pot, and we all know who smokes it! LOL

Maybe that's crack you're smoking, though.

As long as the topic is good, I'm down to discuss Knicks issues with anyone.

the NBA has never been about teams... it's always been about the Superstars... honestly. The few times there has been TEAM play - Detroit, Mavs, Kings... it's an anomoly.

That said, I wish the NBA was more about teams than individuals, but lets face it, the Stars make this game fun to watch and not college ball.

The NFL, now that league is about teams-- it's the ultimate team sport. The NBA is not just about Superstars, it's about personalities, too.
Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...

Thank You.

IF KVH was more consistent then yeah I wouldn't be against him. Inconsistent players become even more inconsistent during playoffs.
