yelling at his players for letting the knicks attempt 3 pointers even though Chicago was up by 16 at one point and the knicks WEREN'T hitting their shots.
compare this to MDA who lets the inmates run the asylum.

No comparison between coaches. We take 30 3's a game. Anyone who comes here starts taking 3's and then we insult the player for it but not the coach. Douglas and his crappy 3's, Carmelo came here and is taking too many 3's, hell Jeffries launches up 3's here and there. The coach tells them to shoot it rather than not. He is a gimmick coach. He is the opposite of a real NBA head coach. But don't you dare insult Mike "MDA Pringles GOAT" D'Antoni.

someone needs to tell me the line between too many and just the right amount.

15? 17? 20? 23? 30?

What if you are wide open? Turn if down if you reach the limit?

Does pace count?

Watch Phil Jax for a few games. Dude just chills.

Calls time out and lets his players sort it out many times.

Dude has more bling than any other human who makes an living from basketball.

More rings than fingers.

I watched Skiles rant and rave with the passon for three teams now? Dougie collins makes it work, as does the passion of Larry Brown. Great coaches who last 3 seasons.

The grass is always greener and all coaches are better. We get it. YOu don't like MDA.

We should hire them all!

Thibodeau is going to not last long at anyone place with that style. Guys are just going to eventually tune him out.

Thibodeau's style works in college but isnt going to work longterm in Chicago.

No one here sould be questioning our wonderful head coach. He is a professional coach in the NBA, you guys are just lousy fans who have no idea what you are talking about.

I don't know what you guys have been watching for the last few years, but Mike D'antoni is the greatest defensive coach in the league after Thibodeau.

Supposedly D-Rose embracing his style is what contributed to them having a successful season. They've won 60gms first yr with him yapping. Why would they tune him out?

It's not like Lawrence Frank panic/yelling or Scott Skiles beat you like the stepfather you wish you never had/yelling. It's a different style.... A PROVEN STYLE THAT HAS BROUGHT HOME THE HARDWARE

Thibs is great.

JVG was great.

Mike Brown was great.

And chicago's team is very much built for what he is dog.

The Hardware is not home in Chitown.

Boston had heavy vet team and Rivers who sucked in Orlando and was not doing great in Boston got three big pieces, a freak PG and some big lumber to back them.

Bulls are the flavor of the month. Of course we want him as coach.

I got Bulls going to finals for months now. I get it. We can't hire every coach.

Thibs came from JVG who came from Riles who before was Mr. New York tough guy coach was "ShowTime" ring leader. He adapted. I don't know what the Miami thing was but it was Dwade and shaq.

Phil Got the Triangle and more rings than fingers.

Doesn't matter that the hardware isn't in Chicago yet..... his style is proven to get results to the point it has brought hardware to a team. Thibs was wanted before he got to Chi-Town

Did the Spurs tune out Popovich in the entire Tim Duncan era? Did the Knicks and Lakers tune out Riley and Jackson?

wow... so now Thibodeau is Pop, Riley and Jackson? Thibodeau isnt even Rick Carlisle yet. Easy fella. He's had a good REGULAR season.

He still cant get Rose to play defense

This just goes to prove the point that if the star player buys in, it really doesn't matter what the coaching style is. Disciplinarian, quiet, reserved, respectful, one of the guys, distant. You can name a coach that fits in each of these categories that has been successful
