knicks defense is better of late. "stats" like ppg might not say it but if you watch the games the defense is improved

I think we've got a shot, but if we win it'll be as hard of a series to take as the 99 Miami first round matchup. STAT, Melo and Billups have to go 150% from Game 1. CAN'T WAIT....

I think given time to gameplan and to fully adjust to them we can beat them. We can more than match KG, Pierce and Allen with STAT, Melo and CB. I think STAT, Melo and CB can be consistently better over a stretch of games. I don't think the C's big 3 has the stamina to go as hard for as long as our big 3. Pierce is the guy that always seems to stick the knife in so we've got to do a better job of making him work harder. That's where Melo comes in. In his wildest dreams I don't think Pierce can stop Melo, so the more we get them ISO'd the better.

The next thing is Rondo and TD. If TD is playing like he's been playing we will see a really competitive series. We must attack Rondo, cuz he's the key to their success. He's the most creative and athletic guy they have and we have to be aggressive with him defensively and make him work on D.

Gotta hope that the Knicks can keep it close on the boards. Not having Perkins will help us, but they still have plenty of size. That's one of the big concerns I have and likely a reason we could end up losing the series. So rebounding is something i'll be watching closely.

Yea, just not as much as the Knicks. I guess you can throw the Mavericks in there too, which is usually why they face first round exits annually.

I think a fair assessment of this is a look at how many points in the paint we score each game- we're ranked 19th:

But oddly - we're not near the top of 3pga this year.

The first two were against the "old" Knicks and we were winning the last game until they collapsed in the 4th quarter. The Knicks are coming together and the C's have been struggling. I think our boys have a legit shot at taking this series.
