I don't love the trade, but I'm not delusional and don't think waiting for FA was an option. I would have been totally fine with the trade had we not given up Mosgov. I still think we made the right move long term. We have the 2 most important pieces, and there are tons of solid role players in FA this summer.

I have the same stance as I did. I hate the trade, but like Carmello and even Chauncey. I still wouldn't have done it.

This thread was in response to who keep posturing on either side.

So if 80% are in favor and/or love it than those who hate have to realize its a majority and those who love it and want to bait the hate then realize there are very few.

My fondness for the Knuggets are not a protest. One's success need not come at the expense of the other.

Knicks are hot going into the playoffs hot. Thats all that matters. What the Knuggs do is of interest but they don't compete.

so if we have a tale of the tape perhaps we know better understand of what the constituency thinks.

i have a very personal stake in this. one of my best buds for 40 years lives in denver and loves those stupid nuggets. we have battled for 4 decades over our teams and as you know he has kicked my ass continuously for the last decade. this trade was MONUMENTAL for us. i hate every little single possible thing about that team including any players who are currently playing for the f'g nuggets.
are we clear now?

Always supported the trade. Continue to support the trade. Easier to find pieces that compliment Melo than to find another Melo.
