Eddy Curry will not be joining the Miami Heat.

Yahoo!’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Heat’s decision was largely due to Curry’s poor conditioning, with Curry carrying more than 350 pounds on his 7-foot-frame.

Several NBA teams, including Miami, are expected to monitor his progress over the summer and consider the possibility of bringing him to training camp next season.

Mock me, but I feel bad about this. Yes, Curry is responsible for his own plight.

But hiring did not help as Curry, even when he showed up in shape, had no shot at getting into the rotation.

Not every guy brings the mental toughness of a MJ or Kobe. Curry is a big kid who probably needs to be coddled a lot more than other players.

I can't believe anyone could even hold MDA remotly responsable for Eddy and his rotund plight.

Eddy can't play in the NBA anymore. If he could he would be playing.

At this point I just feel sorry for Curry. Between his weight issues and heart problems he's looking at an early grave.

Plus, he is going to be broke in 2 years (if he is not broke already). It is just sad. Dude, needs to hire a professional cook to prepare ALL of his meals. I mean it is one thing for a guy that works all day to get fat from sitting at his desk, but when you have nothing else to do but play basketball ALL DAY, how in the world can you not stay in some kind of decent shape.
