Anthony 26.5 PPG 3 APG FT% 87% FG% 46% 3P% 43% RPG 6 and 2 game winning shots to boot while wearing the blue/white and orange.

Knowing what you know now would you not pull the trigger on the deal?

There are many ways to reach heaviness.
But the best one is to stay in the current moment.
Past is gone and future is inevitable.
So why bother?

Those that hated the deal maybe want more than instant gratification.

Its all been said.

If last play shot to gain a road win against the Pacers in the 80th game of the season makes the trade all worth it now then I am very happy anyone can quantify the trade an success.

At the same time no one seems to be posting the great job MDA has done getting the team ready for the playoffs with a 7 game win streak and seemingly apparent its late game defense that is doing very well.

Personally I need like two seasons to see how the roster shapes up and at trip to the conference finals to see.

Melo is a great player for sure! He is delivering on the value of the players traded!

MDA seems to be resting him the right amount and not letting him get too fried.

I think he had 5 fouls down the stretch?

Great performance. He is a knick.

This isn't about instant gratification, it's about a sneak peak into what the future can hold. The only things that is highly above Melo's career numbers is his 3P%.

I like Gallo. I like Melo more. I was back and forth about the trade. I hated to loose those guys. However Melo will give us a highlight play every night. It was the right move. He is a game changer. With Gallo , Chandler, and Felton in order for them to win they would have to be at the top of thier game every night. Melo can take over a game without Amare. With the old team without Amare it would be a definet loss.

Some people hate the trade not because of Melo, but because of everything we gave up in that trade. Whatever Melo brings to the table, he could have brought it for free this summer...

This is very simple. With Amare out injured Melo can take over the game and win. With the other guys Felton,Gallo, Chandler, with Amare out injured they loose.

Ok so let me get this straight. Carmelo is going to take his money and go to NJ to play with Lopez, Outlaw and Billups. Any owner not named Dolan wishes him well and tells him to enjoy BK and the 7th seed for the next decade.

You tell Melo the following. You're getting the max this summer. If you lose 30 million you will make it up quicker than you realize. You're getting another big contract from us we will market you all over the city and raise your profile. The Heat are not going to win a title this season and if you wait three months we will put a team out there that's better than the Heat and the Bulls. You're going to win a title before Lebron and you're going to be the biggest star in the NBA when you and Amare bring a title to NY.

Moz/Turiaf
Amare/AR
Melo/Gallo
Fields/Draft pick
Felton/Douglas

Boston is running on fumes, Orlando has backed themselves into a corner with Arenas and his contract so your right there with the Bulls and the Heat. That team is built for the playoffs and at the rate Melo, Gallo, Amare draw fouls there is no reason to believe we are not the best team in the east.

No matter what the stats are we are still likely to lose in the first round with depleted assets. So in the end Carmelo needed what he needed it had nothing to do with winning.

Would most people leave money on the table, ask Lebron, Wade and Bosh.

I don't like threads that bait.

If melo has a bad game its all about "the trade".

If he has a great game its the same.

A peak in to the future?

With Dolan running this team not as a fan but as a business man Im just not going down the emotional road with this team.

Im happy with the direction of the team but lets be real. We are one Isiah anouncment away from having to make a choice.

How much would it suck to have to root for your team run by a man you dispise?

Sorry, Im not taking the starphuch bait. Fill the damn roster out and lets watch the game.

We got 10 years of hate being correct to suddenly think some fairy tale happy ever after sheit gonna behold this franchise into some magic collective of fairy dust wonderment.

Last nite was great, we finally held Hansbro to under 29! Defense is looking good! Give MDA a prop!
