I don't remember a player that was this clutch in the last 15 years!

i don't know, feels like Melo made more game winnin shots than Marbury, Houston, and Spree combined (well Houston made that one that is hard to match though)

all i know is it feels great to have melo rising for that little fade away off of the contact in a end game situation

A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

He won the game on both ends of the floor. Big shot. Big block. Big time player!

C'mon. We had Bernard. We had Clyde. We had LJ.... I could continue but it would seem like i'm trying to take shine off of our current GEM , which i'm not. I just remember the lynch mob when we lost 6 in a row

He's been clutch for most of his career makes you wonder why he never got further in the post-season

Didn't he get to a game 7 of the WCF's? It's not the finals but it's pretty far.

darn...have to move you to the ignore list...sorry.

Why you hating on melo? He's still young and his denver team surrounded him with injured big men (kmart, nene) and streaky ball hogs (iverson, Jr smith)

To say he's not clutch is pure hatin.

He's already won two games for us.

Come on man, you are better than that.

Let's go Knicks. That's amare

So why did K.G. get slammed for never getting out of the 1rst round and he was clearly a 2-way player with less talented teams.

All you're proving...... games in the post-season have a lot more to do than having a clutch player and that 1 possession games aren't necessarily the desired outcome you want

Cant speak for others, but I'm a realistic observer, not one time did I bash KG and the Twolves for losing to superior teams. Always hated when the talking-heads knock guys for not advancing or winning a ring without looking at the comp they lost to.

Playoffs comes down to match-ups and talent. Clutchest (is this a word?) player wont have a chance to do his magic if his team doesn't help get him to the 1 possession game. Hard to be clutch when your dropping games by double figures.

This is really why we traded our team away for the guy. He is clutch in the 4th quarter. I still think we should have called Denver's bluff, but if we can find another true center, it will not matter. If Melo and Amare can stay healthy for the next 4-5 years, we should be at least getting to the EC finals every year after this one.
