Tuesday against the Blazers he dropped 29 and grabbed 20 boards. Yesterday 22 and 17 on the Lakers. Averaging 16 and 9 for the season and has 36 double doubles which puts him at 7th in the league.

We watched him get better each year and leave it all on the floor and he was the only bright spot for a time. Let's give some love to our former number 42 and 5 year resident of MSG.

I'm happy for Lee. Once a Knick always a Knick. And he was one of the best in recent times, got to give him respect.

Has he helped to improve their record this year vs. last or is he just putting up empty stats while playing zero defense?

He's had a decent year considering the transition the team went through, his injury, ball dominant/back court players... playing in a much tougher conference. Another player doing fine without the help of D'AnToni

The Warriors only won 26 games last year and have won 35 so far this year. They play great at home but are crap on the road. He's doing his thing.

Yeah but on par with his previous years. Last year was a career year.

Larger role last year compared to this year, the numbers are there though. Considering he was a 4rth option on a GSW team many nights behind(Monta/Curry/Wright) I'd say he pulled his weight very well. Still doesn't play good D. He was a 1rst option here for about half to two thirds of the season last year.

Its not his fault but he wasn't what we needed and indeed, in many respects his stats were very empty on this team. Horrible defense.

Kurt Thomas plus hops, minus post defense. Who cares?

Ironically, he would sure as hell fill a huge need rebounding next to Amar'e.

I loved Lee when he was here. Absolute pro despite having a circus going on around him for 5 years.

That is about the same improvement the Knicks have made this year in the win totals. Too bad he plays in the west they would be the eigth seed in the east.

Amare is just as bad as Lee on defense. If you actually watch both of them Lee is a better post defender. Amare just gets a lot of weak side blocks because he always gambles and it creates the illusion that he takes pride in defense.

Had Lee not been injured early in the season the Warriors would have a very similar record with the Knicks. He did come into the Garden and play STAT head to head and lead his team to victory.

I don't think his stats were empty and the Knicks were better this season at every position. Playing with Felton and Billups and having Fields is a big difference to playing with Harrington and Duhon and dealing with Larry Hughes.

The kid is awesome and had we kept him not signed mozgov I'm willing to beat a starting five of Felton-Fields-Gallo-Amare-Lee with Chandler and Douglas off the bench would have had us right there at the top of the conference.

Amare gets a slight edge on D because they play the same position and those blocks are more meaningful.

Neither D. Lee nor Amare really guard the paint, but Amare does come with some timely blocks while D. Lee is matador D all day.

D. Lee is probably thee most over rated Knick of the last decade. Exhibit A:

Lee is all we needed to be at the top of the conference? Really? David Lee?

I'm willing to bet that whatever you're smoking...is the really good stuff.
