Gallo may have more upside, but Melo has a WAY better fashion sense. Dude gots some solid duds. Gallo, not so much. If they keep sucking at hoops, maybe we could repurpose them in the off-season as runway models?

I just dont get why the hell everyone loves amare and criticizes the hell out of Melo. Melo is better at just about everything.
We traded Gallo and Will for Melo and Ray for Chauncey. We have 2 top 15 players in the league locked up for a while with cap space. We already have our forwards set instead of playing small with Will at the 4 and holding onto contracts that will expire soon anyway. Is anyone gonna pay 8-10 million a year or whatever will would command for a 6th man? Cmon. Unless we continue to fail miserably were gonna make the playoffs just like we would have before the trade. But moving forward in the future we are better off. |

You know Marbury had pretty good stats averaging 20pts and 8ass.
Here's an idea lets get much worse defensively at 3 positions to bring in a guy that doesn't improve our team. Instead of having a point guard and Wilson chandler making 18MM combined next year we have Billups at 14.5M and Melo at 18MM which gives us no room to upgrade the front court and perserve Amare and continue to improve. |

Carmelo Anthony isn't terrible. He is mediocre and comes at great cost. Very hard to build a championship team if you start off behind.
Rose is not the answer.
