Long-term lurker first-time poster.

Hypothetical question...if you could add one player to the current knicks, salary considerations aside, who do you choose?

Not that this is just a wish list...but whose talent would add to the core we currently have? And what skills do they have that would compliment our current team?

My choice would have to be Dwight Howard. His defensive presence, ability to get open and score, and his rebounding skills would truly make the Knicks the team to beat. And a difficult out in the playoffs. Howard gives his teammates open looks...could you picture Amare and Melo with open mid-range twos?

Unfortunately, the skills of a dominant center is also the rarest commodity in the league.

I'll go with Howard as well, because this team is 29th in the league when it comes to points allowed.

Oh, I forgot. That stat is irrelevant because D'antoni likes to push the pace.

Welcome aboard...since we are talking in hypotheticals I will go with Marcus Camby. He seems to have enoigh skills to get some time under this coach. I'll also take Lamar Odom...thanks.

LeBron.

Sorry, I love to hate him but he's still a guy you add first and figure out the rest later.

2nd choice would be Howard.

Am I allowed to go back in time and get Dikembe Mutombo in his prime? Welcome tomam!

I like Howard too, but damn, I wonder if the locker room is big enough for all those egos.

Welcome. I can't think of a need greater for the Knicks than a big right now so I agree. Has to work on those free throws though. Yikes!

Yeah, I'd go with Howard as well. He'd at least give someone like Tyler Hansbrough a reason to pause inside the paint. As we learned in the first part of the season, the threat of shotblockers inside the paint can cover some mistakes.

Not getting too greedy, I'd like one of the lottery bound centers in the upcoming draft (Jonas Valanciunas, Enes Kanter or Donatas Motiejunas).

I hope you know that Alcindor and Kareem are the same person.

fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

You must be confusing "Lou" Alcindor with "Lew" Alcindor. Clearly he meant the former...

You know I gonna spin wit it
