Fishlips should be re-nicknamed to The Leviathan because he's a force of mythical proportions

I think they're 2-0 in the last two games and he hasn't scored in the last two games.

He's our secret weapon.

How about how Jared missed that wide open layup? Man I missed that guys amazing ability to destroy easy scoring opportunities. I didn't think it was humanly possible for a player to be nearly 7ft tall and not be able to reliably put the call in the basket less than a foot from it. He's amazing! Good thing we don't need him to score at all. It just shows you how far the team has come since he was last here.

That botched layup with not even a defender blocking his way had me ROFL. Lot of comedic highlights in this game, including Balkman tipping in his missed dunk.

I love what he's done, but you might not be so kind to him if he does the same thing and we lose by 1 pt.

Dynastic proportions! Melo's just filler. The 2011 season will forever be remembered as the year Fishlips returned to NY.

This is true, but i'm good with that considering that no game should have to come down to whether Jared can finish at the rim. It may happen once in a blue moon, but my guess is he won't be in that situation too often. He's been a very big addition. Imagine if we didn't have him and we had to play without Turiaf like this.

Jared is J-Glue! Zeke wasn't so crazy after all. Mike has found that use for him that Zeke was thinking of when he brought him in. He actually does hold the entire defense together when he's in there. He stepped right back into things at the same level he was playing when he left, perhaps even a bit better on the offensive boards. He doesn't always get the board, but he's so active that it has an effect on the other teams ability to secure the ball.

Only real reason to hate JJ was his 7 million a year

Ohh that and he was shooting 3's last year

JJ for 250k on this team for what we need is a perfect fit!

I imagine we can resign him on the cheap. Not that he owes us anything with that crazy contract Isiah signed him too but he just doesn't really offer a team much - seems like he fits our team. Now, perhaps another team can offer him more, but now we can attract players to come here for cheaper.

It is a bit unsettling how incredibly bad he is at finishing - missed the game last night but had seen it too many times before.

1 point in 4 games played, that's what you call carrying a team!
