i don't know—they seem mentally weak. if these guys crumble like a hard cookie in the playoffs, miami might turn out to be the biggest bust in the NBA.

To early to predict this, but it would seem that things are not going to be as easy as they must have thought when they got together.

Ultimately, it may come down to James/Wade having to convince someone else to come on board for a reduced salary- and it seems to be a PG is really needed for that team.

Does not seem that James can run the team as well as I thought he could.

What a shame.

mike miller was supposed to be the key piece for them and he has been a disaster. don’t know whether his injury has really limited him and or he's lost it.

tru tru—they might turn it on in the playoffs. but what i don't get is, why doesn't Wade have the ball in his hands when the game counts? that's the coach...

Can't imagine Riley is happy with Spoelstra for dropping that little gem.

If they do they are crazy. Not only will they be taking a salary dump but the players around them want to be stars too If star point guard come in and he gets more money. How will the other player feel after they took a salary dump. They get no attention and when they leave Miami other teams ain't gonna want to pay them that much. They will say prove to me that you have game.

The move to sign Mike Miller long term may be what kills this team. They should have tried to go after another young big or 5; there are a million James Jones type players out there who are young and can shoot.

I bet Miami turns it around and wins a championship, maybe even this season. Bad stretches are bad stretches. They are growing as a team, and will emerge from this adversity stronger. Everyone is enjoying them struggling so much, but Lebron and D-Wade are still two of the top 5 players in the league and it's just a matter of time before they figure things out.

Mike Miller brought that mother down.

But, the Heat are like 41-19, that's about 70% winning. As they say you-know-where, "you'll be aight". But here it's "they'll be aight".

very weird... I really dont get it.
On Mike Miller: I loved this this offseason... this was one of the best shooters/play makers from the 2/3 spot in the NBA. I thought he would be amazing on this Knick team if we didnt get PG. Picture a Douglas/Miller backcourt spreading the floor for Amare and whoever else we got. Oh well... dudes a good player, I have to think its a physical problem and its screwed up his shooting mechs.

On the crying thing?
My god... I cant imagine that being true. Its insane. If you just lost game 7 of the finals and your two best friends are retiring at the end of the year who knows... maybe, but a regular season game against the Bulls? I'm going to assume there is more to the loss that created the crying because no grown man can be that big of a p^ssy. Maybe Bosh slept w/ Gloria and got Delonte's herpes? That could cause some tears... who knows.

Assuming the Knicks are there it will be interesting to see who we draw in round one and who our "stars" play.

Mike Miller is suffering from concussions I think.

Knicks Identify Bosh as One of the Weepers

By Tommy Dee on Mar 07, 2011, 10:49 am

Via ESPN

Stoudemire and Anthony were bantering and laughing about players on the Miami Heat crying after their loss earlier Sunday to the Chicago Bulls, with Stoudemire fingering Chris Bosh as the watery-eyed one (although Bosh, when asked by reporters in Miami whether he had cried, said he almost had but did not).“I heard Chris Bosh was crying tears,” Stoudemire said.

“Tears?” Anthony asked.

“Yeah, tears,” Stoudemire replied.

You’d assume that players talk to players, and it is ridiculous to think that Bosh would cry after a regular season loss on the surface. But it also is a pretty good indication that he’s not a robot.

He’s human.

It’s an example of how, if true, Bosh would have been eaten alive here by the pressure. Think about it, the only people in New York who aren’t really scrutinized in New York are the one’s who do the scrutinizing.

i don't think Amar'e and Carmelo should be giving the Heat any motivation — especially come playoff time if we have to meet them sooner than later...

I can see this Bosh experiment in Miami ending badly. If this team doesn't get its act together by mid next year, I wouldn't be surprised to see Riley put Bosh on the block. Riley likes tough bastards, and Bosh isn't one. Remember Riley's Knicks. Remember the Hardaway/Mourning Heat. I doubt he suffers through 5 years of softness at the PF position.

I really hope the Knicks play the Heat in the first round... and when Bosh gets to the line at MSG the Garden bursts out into spontaneous crying. Can you imagine?

My money is on bosh and LeBron being the cry babies too. Bosh is a little bitch, and he said that he "didn't cry, but almost did." Is that like being halfway pregnant? And LeBron apparently spoke to his teammates about his repeated 4th quarter failures in teh lockerroom. That has "I WEPT BECAUSE I'M NOT A MAN" written all over it.
