Centers:

Joel Pryzbilla
Hilton Armstrong
Nazr Mohammed
Nenad Krstic
Glen Davis

List is nothing special but I wouldnt mind stealing Davis and Krstic from the Celtics. Jeff Green is going to get paid this summer so I doubt they have the extra cash.

Krstic would fit in. Plus he's a countryman. So I'm on board for that move.

I think I want to go the draft route. I don't see anybody that can help in that list.

Pretty sure anyone we draft is going to be riding the pine for the next 1-2 yrs.

I didnt bother listing Tyson Chandler because Dallas is going to resign him.

I'd sign Pryz to a 1-yr deal if he goes for that. Got the feeling another team may give him a multi-year contract though.

We're kind of limited if we want to preserve cap space in 2012, and our best option may end up just being bringing over Jerome Jordan from Euroleague.

Yup. Some way, somehow, others will surface. I'll wait.

Armstrong is currently on his fifth team and hasn't done anything on any of them. Nazr is nearing the end of his career and will probably sign on with a contender to get another ring. Krstic doesn't rebound and doesn't defend. I can't imagine Boston not resigning Davis. Pryzbilla would be perfect; a big man who rebounds and blocks shots who's content playing 20mpg. But, are the Knicks willing to shell out a multi-year deal or is 2012 cap space more important.

I think Davis is a goner. You dont trade Kendrick Perkins for Jeff Green for financial reasons and then resign Davis.

Jeff Green is going to be more expensive to resign than Perkin would have been. Plus they still need a center unless they believe Shaw has more left in the tank.

He looks much slimmer than he did last year. If he can keep the weight off, he will improve his mobility and his effectiveness. He is a solid player, but he is not a center.

Yeah, I agree. Of that list, Joel P. is probably our best bet but I doubt he would take a 1yr deal and we cannot sign him to a multi-year deal. He just is not worth us losing the cap space in 2012.

But weren't the financial reasons that Boston couldn't offer him more money due to some quirk in the CBA? That's what I remember reading, Boston had already offered him the maximum contract they could under league rules and he had turned it down. So instead of losing him for nothing in the off-season they traded him to OKC for Green.

They couldn't extend him for more than like 22 million. They had his bird rights and could have signed him to the max this summer. Boston is going to have to match any offer for Jeff Green too.

How can you make a list like this and forget the most important piece to get?

Where is Earl Barron?

He isn't a center but the guys is pushing 290lbs easy. Big bodies are important when guard on the block.

We need a legit 7-footer. We should draft one or trade for Camby.

Or sign Dalembert to a vets minimum deal.
