Sources say NJ in talks w/Den to send 2 1st round picks to Den for Mozgov & either Gallinari, Chandler or Felton, if Melo traded to NYK

this is why the Knicks are getting played by Denver and New Jersey.

I think the Nets are trying to get the Knicks to back out. They probably think this is their last hope to land a top level guy and get the fans to show up.

Gallo is would be perfect for NJ and he and Lopez are both very young. He would open things up for Lopez like they hoped Outlaw would.

Wow. Just...wow. NJ has a shrewd billionaire, successful bizman running their team. We have a fat, lazy, arrogant, retarded silver-spoon fed loser musician who thinks of our beloved team as his plaything.

Dolan should be submerged in cement and never heard from again (ok, that may be excessive, but I am hating on him atm). What a retarded a-hole he is.

I really really hate the Nets more than ever before, but Dolan is the one who's been completely suckered by them. Really read this article that was posted on another thread:

The nets owner basically admits Melo won't sign with them and is now just getting us to increase our offer. This trade if it happens is a disaster for us, in that we gave way way more than was necessary.

This is such an odd trade. This would cause any other team to back away from the table, but since its Carmelo and the Knicks, they'll just let Denver act like the most juvenile management team in history without repercussions.

I agree. Absolutely brillant move. Either they get Mozgov and Chandler or Gallo for 2 1st round picks, which is a great deal for a proven player and a legit center prospect, or they force the Knicks to say "WTF" and back out of the deal, in which case NJ still has hopes of getting Anthony. The Russian is a smart guy.
