WOW, he's saying alot and the knicks need to do the deal. Even if it means to put Gallo, Chandler and Fields in the deal.. 2 out of the 3

Chandler and Fields? Damn! I'd rather give up Chandler and Gallo. Fields has way too much upside, it would suck to lose him.

Fields is awful. If Denver were smart they'd try to pry Roger Mason away from us.

Nothing I didn't say before. Gallo is coat tailing MDA. Thats is his godson. Next GM and Coach that comes in here they are going ship Gallo out the first chance they get.

at this point i think it's a given it will take us giving up at least 2 out of the 4 of our top young guys to get Melo... i don't really get the sense that Melo is crazy about the idea of waiting til free agency, he obviously wants a trade to go down so he can come play in NY this year & sign that extension... to get a player like Melo we need to be prepared to make some sacrifices... i mean like Steven A is talking about in this segment, he's practically gift wrapped himself with a huge blue & orange bow & sent the message to DW to come & get him by playing this out the way he's done up to this point... are we really going to pass up a chance to get him over wanting to hold onto a Landry Fields? or a Danilo Gallinari? i don't think most people believe DW should give up every young asset we have, but if you have a choice & can keep at least 1 or 2 of those kids & still get Melo, i honestly don't see what the hold up is.

Stephen A doesn't know his ass from his elbow when discussing basketball. He should just stick to yelling about Stephon Marbury and forget about giving his ideas on how to build a team. This guy supported every Isiah move ever made.

I don't think there's any way that they hold up the trade cuz MDA wants to keep Gallo due to some personal relationship. That just sounds silly. I think DW likes Gallo a lot and views him as a great future piece along with Amar'e and Melo. Gallo is just getting started and already he's shown signs that he can be a lot more in this league. He's got size, handles, passing, shooting and smarts. I think it's all about potential with Gallo and not family friendships. Still if in the end that's the last thing holding up the deal I have to think DW does it. Now that Melo has said he'd consider signing with Denver if he's not traded. I think they'll probably send Chandler and Fields tho. Gallo is still valuable as a deep threat to keep the floor spread.

holy crap SAS is in rare form tonight... ended with some REAL talk saying what we need is 2 top scorers like Melo & Amare & 1 big bully thug to grab boards, play defense & protect our stars... i couldn't agree more... get me Melo, Amare & a big bully thug who's gonna regulate on some cats if anyone messes with those guys on the court & i'm rollin' w/that all day.

Give em Fields, Chandler, and AR. You can't re-sign Fields in 2012 anyway if you want a shot at D-Will or CP3.
