If Donnie is so great, Why would Rautins have a 600k/3 while Fields has a 473/2 year deal?

Donnie is o great he got Fields at a better value. He paid him less to give him incentive to play harder.

Donnie the great psychologist.

Both are non-guaranteed. If Rautins is still here in 2013, you'd have to assume he's turned into a useful piece.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Where are you getting an extra year from?

Hoopshype has them both on 2 year deals, with both pulling in identical salaries next year.

I wouldn't feel too bad for Landry, I think he'll be able to make up that extra 130k on his next contract...

Because Donnie is a racist who gives white Canadian guys long-term contracts.

Awesome thread.

If Donnie is so great how come we haven't won a championship yet?

If Donnie is so great how come we didn't sign Wade, Lebron, Bosh and Amare?

This is a great thread. Really. Donnie Walsh with a blunder there. The size of Texas or at least, the size of one of those NYC Macy's parede baloons. Or the size of _________(fill in the blank)

let's assume for a second that Biggamer's numbers are correct. Rautins took three years at a below average rate, to lock in earnings. Fields, on the other hand, maybe forgave some salary so he could enter free agency sooner. I'd say Fields gets a Wes Matthews type deal, so in his third year he collects $5,765,000.00.

Maybe Fields bought his freedom and Rautins is thinking he needs to take what he can get coming into the league.

Wow, Here is what I can recall.

Rautins game is very suited for euroball and I think he had some nice offers to play overseas.

I also thought players can choose a 2 or 3 year deal.

And If Landry and think it might work out that dude is gonna make like 130k a GAME when his deal is up.

So why is Donnie bad here?

Did Donnie really think Landry would be starting?

Also if Donnie so great why did he sign Amare to that deal when he could have signed Petro, Outlaw, Morrow and Farmar like the Nets did
