Dolan is a moron but at least he's getting involved to try and make this happen sooner than later. At the end of the day it's the owners who are going to make or break the deal so I take it as a good sign that both parties are at least talking. BTW - Just because Dolan is inolved doesn't mean that half the team will get traded to make the deal happen.

As one article said, everyone in the Knicks' organization wants to take credit for landing Melo if they can. So if Dolan gets involved and makes the trade, he can take credit, let Walsh go and either bring back Zeke or give Mark the keys. He should stay out of the picture and let Donnie do what he does best, what he was hired for...that which Thomas was clearly incapable of accomplishing. |

Dolan is doing the right thing. He should contact the other owner. Its not like he contacting the other GM he is leaving Walsh to do that. When owners usually get involved deals get done.
