I could see a Brooks-Felton backcourt for spells... multiple P-n-R options and spot-up opportunities with our forwards.

This dude can ball. He might be having an off year, but I can already see him threatening felton for the starting spot if we were to get him.

Brooks is a baller. If the Knicks can pick him up for Azabuke's contract I say why not. He'd definately solve the problem of a back up PG and he'd be a 6th man.

They're not going to trade Brooks for the leftover parts that we're not using for the Melo trade.

Houston's GM is really good. He's not going to fall for Donnie's tricks like Denver and Minny.

How about Jerome Randle from the Pac 10 last year. Fields said he was the best he ever played with. The guy put up huge stats and was player of the year. I think he'd be better than Brooks right now...

Wonder where Randle is playing these days? Little guys have it hard...

Well he'd get far more mpg here if he's our first PG off the bench and he gets backup min to Fields (with both he and Felton on the floor at the same time). Then he might still be looking at 33 mpg.

he's got multiple gripes

1. he had an awesome season last year and he didn't get extended

2. he got injured and then lost his starting job to kyle lowry.

I don't care for that kind of behavior. The man is talented enough to get paid millions of dollars to play a game and acts like child when things don't go the way he wants. I've got NO time for that crap.

I think he's acting that way because he wants to continue to receive millions of dollars to play a game. Basically a contract year for him and he's not getting any minutes. could cost him a lot of $
