I hate to say it, but I'm probably out if that happens. It's hard enough to deal with the fact that Dolan is a total tool, that he's as much to blame for all the mistakes made during his "ownership" of the team as all the other principals combined (and likely likely multiplied to the tenth power), that he has so little regard for fans, women, his current employees that are EXCELLING at their job...just everything about him is impossible to swallow. But I try to get passed it for the orange and blue, for 33, Walt Clyde, Monroe, Oakley, Starks, Willis, Houston, King, and now Amare, Felton, Landry and the rest of guys. If the shoe drops and Walsh is not renewed and Thomas is given the keys, that'll be the proverbial straw.

I keep hoping Charles will step in at some point tell his son to either get his head out of his ass OR hand the team over to competent management. I love my sons too and will do everything I can for them always, but I would not let them sink one of my largest assets which also happens to be one of the most important franchises in the league.

I would actually be stunned if Dolan brings Isiah back, but I guess you can see him thinking that Isiah can reel in Melo as a FA.

I won't like it. I don't think it will happen. I was a Knick fan before Isiah came.

Dolan doesn't like it at all when he is publicly made fun of. I think, to him, losing a few fans is nothing compared to the humiliation that picketing outside of MSG would cause. The only thing is, if Isiah is back it might be too late. Maybe the time to picket is now ?

Okay, it seems we are all in basic agreement that such a move could in fact kill the die hard Knicks fans. I hope it's outrageous speculation, but Dolan seems to feel some real man love for Thomas and it seems them pairing again in the future is inevitable.

In a vacuum he might do OK, but the media and outside pressures would be too much. Better to just have him whispering in Dolan's ear when he sees an underrated college prospect.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I'll be officially not a Knicks fan if that happens...I wouldn't be able to root for the Nets, maybe San Antonio or the Thunder.

i'd riot.

unfortunately, if that was to actually happen i don't think it'd make that much of a difference. even if the organization reverted back to the dark ages with Isiah, people would still come out to see the knicks—that's the sad part.

i really think Isiah has something on Dolan or they're lovers...

Either stop paying for tickets/merchandise...but since that won't put a dent unless we all band as a collective...

Start chanting "Sell The Team" or "Fire Isiah" as SOON as he's hired.

I would feel terrible for Donnie -- I think the guy's done a great job---GREAT---and I think he deserves to finish what he started. You get the feeling that Dolan is jerking him around and not gonna do the right thing in the end, and that's a shame if that's how it goes down..If Dolan ever disrespected Donnie and then rehired Isiah, honestly, i might not watch and support the team any more..That's how upset something like that would make me.
