I think it's karma smacking Wilson in the face.

Used to like Chandler but after screwing over his agent of a few years right BEFORE he is due for an extension i started despising him. Takes a bad dude to do that to your agent, especially this close to the real agent money.

That thing about real $ is true. Then again, perhaps he didn't have the confidence in his agent.

maybe he had a reason to fire him... maybe his agent promised him he'd get a contract extension worked out this year & couldn't deliver... i doubt he'd just fire the guy just to be an a-hole.

No real reason to fire him. I dont care if he had World Wide Wes as his agent, Donnie was not giving Chandler any extension this past offseason with all the Melo and Paul talk about the knicks future.

Wilson will see about a 5 year 50-60 Million dollar deal best case this offseason, his agent he had would have been able to deliver. Chandler got smooth talked by some hotshot agent trying to get an easy buck and canned the guy who stood by him when he was a measly 23rd pick.

Really can't stand Chandler now, hope we trade him ASAP

Chandler got smooth talked by some hotshot agent but he's still looking for a new one? how exactly did you that from this situation... if he had left his agent & went directly to another i could see your point, but he's still considering other options... do u have any clue as to the type of person Wilson C is, cuz i don't... all i know is he seems like a shy, understated young guy who's working hard to try & earn his next contract... his teammates seem to like him & so does his head coach & GM... & from the sounds of the comments from the agent he just fired, doesn't seem to be any bad blood over this either... but i guess you know better than all those guys... Wilson's a douche... gotcha... thanks for the inside info.

"We've decided to part ways," said Luchey, who called the split amicable. "I've known Wilson since he was a teenager and we'll continue to have a good relationship."

Im gonna take a stab that as his scoring is going up there are lots of voices whispering in his ear about the big money he is going to get. I hate when an agent gets dumped that stood by his man but the fact MIGHT be Wilson is entering a very tricky situation with the potential lock out and as the Knicks to Melo destiny moves closer Wilson needs a sign and trade more to get his bigger money than just being restricted. A well connected agent can move many pieces.

Look at Dlee. Dlee was taken care of by the knicks. He got to a premium city (San Fran when you a multimillionaire does not suck)with a great contract. He was paid last year when the team did not have to, and made sure he got his money.

I don't blame Wilson for having to look out for his career.

don't know why he has hit the wall but also opponents might have found a chink in his armor and defending him differently. Maybe a combination of lots of things.

Probably an agent that was stealing money from Chandler. That is nothing new in the world of sports.

He wasn't going to replace him with onen right away so as not to create the allusion of him being a bitch, he will wait a few weeks and say he found one when we all know the truth.

As for the agent, they always say these things when they are fired, always. They want future clients, they can't be labeled as giving dirt ever

funny to read speculation on why player fired agent when no one knows and details of what actually went on.

BTW, when you fire an agent, you cannot hire one for 2 weeks. NBA rules. But the unwritten rule is you never fire an agent unless you really have one in mind to replace.

i think Wil has been in a slump since the Nets/Nuggets negotiations went sour and it became more realistic to assume Carmelo might make his way to the Knicks. Carmelo pretty much plays the same position Wilson does - even if the Knicks pursue Carmelo in the off-season, it's pretty clear that Wilson wouldn't be coming back.

this is what freaks me about chandler...heck, if random talk tanks his game...what's he gonna do in the playoffs when the real pressure is on...How he does in the playoffs is going to set the value of his contract...all talk of how much he is going to get is waaaaaay premature. If the dude wilts like a lilly...he ain't getting paid

If you watched Chandler during the OKC game, what you saw was a super passive player. There were multiple plays where he just drifted around aimlessly on offense even when he was on the floor without Amare and Felton. It was really weird.
Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please
