Is there any way Walsh flips Felton for Billups in the Melo deal?

I love Felton and would hate to see this. but considering Feltons amazingly good contract and the fact he is much younger than Billups this would make sense for Denver.. would take a little more to make salaries match up... is this a realistic option? I hope not

another Q would this make us a more legit title contender RIGHT AWAY?

I understand the first part of your post but not the second. I am big supporter of Felton and I want him to be here for a long time, but at least I can see Denver wanting him etc.

But why do you think Billups would make us an instant contender where Felton would not? Billups is great no doubt about it, but Felton has proved his worth many times over this season and fits this system well. I don't know how Billups can come here and be better especially since he has never played in SSOL and never played with any of our current players.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

I would prefer if we went all in for them to add nene to the deal.

Felton, melo, amare, nene and any additional 4 leftover from the carnage and we'd be in the ECF 2012 at least?

because Felton's game is based on speed, athleticism, and strength. I honestly don't see him having a long career producing at the rate he has and is right now.

With the way trading for Melo would handicap us, I don't even want the guy, let alone give up Felton for him, just to get the almost ready to retired Billups.
