I see all over the web rumors of Nash being on the move and that the Knicks are interested if he is available, this from ESPN today

On Tuesday, a report from Sam Amick of FanHouse included word the Suns were "on the fence" about what to do with Steve Nash.

As such, it's reasonable to take a look at some teams that could be a fit for him if the team indeed decides to move their PG by February's trade deadline.

The Knicks are obviously in the mix, and ESPN's Tom Haberstroh added the Rockets and Thunder to the list as well Wednesday -- two teams with a bevy of assets to include in any such deal.

I dont get it, why would we want Nash who is 10 years older then Felton, when Ray is playing at an all star level and Knicks have much bigger needs elsewhere

why would the Thunder for that matter? Westbrook's had a phenomenal season and should have a helluva career

You could make an argument that the Rockets don't make sense. That team gets the second most assists per game in the league... they need help, but they already know how to move the ball around

I think Nash would make sense with the Lakers... Steve Nash and Hakim Warrick for Andrew Bynum and Devin Ebanks works. I know the Lakers are a bit thin up front this season but that would be one awesome back court and Kobe probably only has a couple seasons left in him

If Isiah were GM, this would be a perfect move. Thank God we have Walsh, who, if things go well, we will all build a shrine to within a few years.
The new new core: Randle, RJ, IQ. Maybe Mitch. Future pick. Future trade. Future FA.

I wouldn't go after Nash while he's under his 10/11M contract. After his contract runs out, and if he's willing to take a pay cut, I think Nash would be a great pickup. Felton should still start but Nash would be the backup.

we're interested in Nash because MDA loves the guy & trusts him implicitly to run his system.

Even at his advanced age, Nash would be a perfect fit. He could take it easy as a backup and extend his career a bit longer here. He can do that in PHX, too but here he'd have a chance to win a title. Plus he lives here anyway, so that would be an easy fit for him. Of course he'd be able to literally slide right in and not have to do much adjusting at all.

Robert Sarver is an idiot. He coulda paid Joe Johnson but decided to lowball him. He kept selling draft picks (including the one the Cs used to get Rondo) to save $ but authorized $ going to the likes of Marcus Bank, Josh Childress, etc.

But he loves Nash and would never let him go. Even though it's looking like Phoenix would be better off blowing it up and getting something for Nash while he's still performing at a relatively high level.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Nash is still better than Felton at everything except defense. However, I would not trade for him because it will screw up our cap situation. If we can get him as a backup after next year, then that would be great.

Felton seems hellbent on getting a triple double tonight vs Nash.

Felton has outplayed Nash and if he's not as good now, he will be as good or better in 2 years. So having Felton is a no-brainer. Nash would be a great backup PG in 2 years though behind Felton.

They need to do the right thing for Nash and trade him. He deserves better.

(Add Grant Hill to that too.)

Anyone who would want Nash over Felton has to get a reality check.

Felton definitely made a statement tonight w/that performance, but i find it hard to believe that a guy who's putting up 17 pts & 11 assists on a team w/no premier scoring threat playing alongside him has lost much of a step... i think Nash is doing all that he can with what he has to work with... that said i love Ray Felton's style of play, he's a bulldog just like Amare said before the game... i don't think PG is an area we should be worried about anytime soon.

coincidentally, both Felton & Nash are FA's after next season according to Hoopshype... this might be an interesting conversation down the road.

Regardless of whether Nash is better than Felton, Felton is playing at a high enough level where you have to basically say, what is Nash going to add to this team right now? We can't really play both guys- it doesn't make a lot of sense.

Just get a rebounder!

Not 100% sure, but I think the Knicks have a $10M option for 3rd year.
