Amare Stoudemire works and lives in the fashion capital of the world..So it comes as no surprise that he’s getting his scent on..Amare Stoudemire plans on launching his own fragrance line as well as a sportswear collection this Summer..Part of the reason Amare decided to play for the Knicks, was the opportunity to expand on his brand..“I’m six-ten, but I’m narrow, so I can buy some things off-the-rack. Like jeans — I just need a 370-inch inseam. I can wear an XXL shirt and my shoe size is only 15. Lots of stores stock those sizes. The hardest thing for me is my arm and leg length. You can tailor garments all you want, but if it doesn’t fit in the arms or legs, it never will.” Dude really loves his clothes..As long as the Knicks are winning, I think fans will gladly scoop up his products. -TO

It's a billion dollar industry, why not try to get a sliver of that pie?
Derek Jeter had his own scent. I might just buy it for the hell of it
if it smells half way decent.

Exactly. Opportunities like these are one of the main recruiting tools we have as far getting top players. Heck, even Al Harrington had his own sneaker.

Success of Amare outside basketball will only enhance the Knicks profile for upcoming free agents.

Tell that to the people who bought the Starburies. Cheap as hell and crappy shoes, but people still got them.

I'm with making the cash money where ever and however you can, but what I'm saying is female behavior is his obsession with clothes. It's very 21st century, effeminate male, it's this whole deal that's going on that's taking balls away from men.

For example, if he were into hunting or cattle ranching he could make a ton of money with his own line of guns or lassos or whatever, it's a loose example but it illustrates my point.

Here is the thing:

We live in an artificial world, making cologne is simply cash money, nothing else. Guns and lassos are 19th century, not a huge market in NYC. What do you want him to sell thats fresher than cologne? What should he do? Should he write a book? Should he listen to his friends? Should he be who you want him to be ?

Everything you have ever wanted is on the other side of fear- George Adair

Amare is a 6'10" world class professional athlete. He currently is the face of the knicks. He should care that his clothes fit.

Don't you care about how you dress? Or don't you?
