wow shawne williams played 20 minutes.. what a difference adding one extra bench player to the rotation benefits all. four out of our top five guys played under forty minutes thanks to shawne. thank you shawne.

call me jovial but i dont want to wait around for melo passed trade deadline. F a "melo decision" during off season, if no trade this is santa clause telling us to keep what we have, be greatful, and win.

santa clause just gave knicks fans like me a gift. i look at magic and i see their players, its a who's who of past greats, you think wow they are deep. i want that. you look at the superfriends you like wow, how do we get close to that.

always coveting.. you know. kind of makes you forget what you have.. we keep our top five fresh, ny is going places. ffs ny just gave shawne (i didnt know who the hell he was till he was a knicks) williams twenty minutes in the rotation, W.

am i all in for trading melo by deadline? yes. cause im a bipolar knicks fan (apologies) but no trade and im out. im keeping these top five, locking up gallo, and chandler, and fields (if i can) during the off season, and not waiting around for any "melo decision."

Count your blessings guys. We're growing beforeyour eyes and you're not happy. Melo is going to show up and you'll be wondering where your mojo went. Next up; the Heat

The review process is still ongoing. Donnie won't pull the trigger on anything until he has to. Right now the team is responding very well and we still have some guys that haven't even gotten a chance yet. AZ, AR and Timo, not to mention Rautins may eventually get in there and show us something.

Patience if the key word when it comes to roster moves. The players we already have are cheaper and younger, so why not wait and see how that goes. Fans are too quick to want to blow it up early in the season before we have a chance to develop our young players. When did this happen. When did we just change from wanting to build thru the draft with young players? Yeah we got some of these young guys thru trades and overseas, but they are essentially draft picks that need time to develop. So why be in such a rush to get rid of them?

We're gonna be good this year regardless, so let's show some patience.

We're still in the bottom tier of playoff teams because we lack a second star.

it's hard for me to picture us taking 4 games out of 7 facing the Celtics, Heat, Lakers or Spurs... young teams like ours usually need to go through some trials in playoff play & a few disappointments before they take that final step to becoming a viable championship contender, & oftentimes that involves adding that last missing piece... playoff basketball is a whole different animal than regular season games.

very little interst in Melo

more interested in a C a high quality 6th man and another vet we can get for fairly cheap like Grant Hill + sign Wilson to a 6 years 45mm $ extension

We score points--we need another big who is 6-11 260+ who can play a 6th man who can rotate with our scorers who is good for 14-17 points and and a vet like Grant Hill who will take less going for a championship. TD and a draft pick PG should be able to handle back up 1 guard. Carmelo isnt a guy like wade etc.. who is a passer and makes players better--hes a scorer and we dont need that.

Agree. We're a first round team at the moment, and that's a good thing considering the way things have been for a decade. We've begun to pave the road back to respectability. But realistically, getting to the first round and losing to Miami, Boston, and Orlando is probably the course of action that is set to take place beginning April. If we land Melo, we would surely appease tasting our own blood before experiencing success.

i think we might get past the 1st round if we get the right matchup... it's not unrealistic to think we can make it in as a 4-6 seed... i think we have enough to beat a team like the Hawks, but the better teams have a way of slowing down the pace of the game & dictating by playing suffocating defense... that's when a top flight scorer becomes really necessary.

The ideal matchup is Chicago getting 3 and us getting 6 because its obvious we can beat them. A matchup against Atlanta wouldn't be impossible either.

Regardless of it, its so refreshing to talk about first round matchups in December lol.

it is at that... never thought i'd be talking about playoff basketball so early, but this team has really turned itself around... gotta give DW & MDA a lot of credit for how the team has performed so far.

I think the team to target is Sacramento. With Cousins there they might be willing to trade Thompson or Dalembert. I know Philly fans were very frustrated with Dalembert but he might do very well in NY and he is a big body. Thompson would be awesome as well. Sac seems like the perfect trade partner as Westphal is constantly juggling his line up.

AZ and AR are those pieces.

There is no trade that helps the knicks into the upper echelon that doesn't involve melo.

The upgrade has to come from within or be a blockbuster.

Dantoni only plays 8 in a game. That's his style.

Let's go Knicks. That's amare
