The coach of the year = MDA

The MVP= amare

The most improve player = raymond/chandler

6th man = Td

Rookie of the year = Fields

I'm just saying, at the rate were going, and if we ended up winning more then 50 games, it will be because of all of the above if we stay as is.

Then you should know the only one that has a chance of happening is Amare for MVP.

TD as 6th man is a huge leap.

...but the players mentioned above are still in the conversation for those honors, and that is all that matters to me.

At the beginning of the year, TD as 6th man or Chandler as 6th man had a real possibility. I doubt it happens now though. I doubt MDA gets coach of the year, especially since this team is only marginally better on defense than it was last year. Amare of MVP has a real chance of happening. Everyone hates Lebron now and it is doubtful that he or Wade would be considered. Kobe and Dirk are always in the running, but I think if this team can get to 50 wins, I think Amare has a real shot at MVP. We have no shot at most improved player award. Felton has improved, but most of his numbers are due to being freed from LB's restrictive offense. As for rookie of the year, I love Fields, but there is no way he wins over Blake Griffin or John Wall.

With all this being said, the fact that the team has someone that could probably place in the top-4 in each of these categories is huge.

If we win 50+ games, thats a 20+ game improvement, reguardless of how many points we give up, at the end of the game, the opposing team gave up more. Even the most optimistic analyst on the NBA front had the knicks winning no more then 40 to 43 games, most said 36 to 39 games.

Fields is a long shot over blake and wall numbers wise, but his impact is far greater then both of them combine.

If TD can avg 13 4 and 4, and win 50+ games....why not

Hibbert is most improved. Thats a landslide IMO.
As of now Popivich is COY. Same main cast, changes the style of play a bit, adapts to the game some and has Spurs as best team in the NBA
We have to play someone off the bench to have a 6th man
Walsh could win exec of the year.. thats got a shot

What I would like to see is Felton make first or second team all NBA defense. That would be really cool

He couldn't guard Lawson at all yesterday. That was a bit scary.

So long as Blake Griffin is considered a rookie, he will get the award. STAT is the man, but I dont yet see him as being that popular choice around the league. Walsh should def get exec of the year and I can understand if MDA get coy.

Why would you say that about Stoudemire? I think he's well liked. No reason that he could not win if he keeps going the way he is and we keep going the way we are.

Id agree, but do you really think he would win it over Kobe or LeBron or Wade?? I dont know... and yes, i agree he needs to be considered and hes had more of an impact than anyone this season.

Depends on how well Miami does, and what hype the ESPN marketing machine can bring for Lebron. Otherwise Lebron/Wade kind of cancel each other out. Kobe, you can almost give it to him every year. Dirk definitely needs to be in the conversation. If one of those teams wins 65 games one of those guys wins it. But if Amare somehow gets this team to 50 wins(which we are on pace for) then how can you deny him the MVP trophy. It would be an outrage.

If we win 50 and Amare doesn't win MVP I will probably use my programming skills to bring down the internet

Actually, it's straigt out lunacy. TD has not played well thus far. Bad decision making, bad shooting, bad all around (except D).

right now, MVP seems to be the most likely... i don't see Fields winning ROY as good as he's played... i think that's gonna be a 2 horse race between Wall & Griffin this year.

Amazingly though, if Griffin actually played last year and wasn't included as part of this rookie's class, Fields may have had a legitimate chance to challenge Wall for ROY. Right now though, Griffin is ahead of either by like a mile, it's not even a close race.
