Why do people want to give so much up for a 36 year old Camby? He's 36 years old!

because he's still 1 of the top rebounders & shotblockers in the game & we're looking to shore up our frontcourt by adding another player that can do those things playing w/Amare in the frontcourt... we can't play Turiaf for 25+ every night, he's gonna break down.

i would do AR & Walker for Camby... can't keep waiting on guys to realize potential w/this team... we need to start building up so we can contend for a title in the present.

we got stat for five years, camby doesnt have five years. i want to build for longevity.

then when ny is one player away from a title run, trade for a vet.

Is that a lot? Two guys that aren't playing. Walker a 2nd round pick because of knee surgery and AR getting DNPs because he needs Brain Surgery?

That is not a lot! And I think that would be a great deal- except Camby got way too much money and the deal might hurt near term flexibility.

good point. but i rather dolan hire a shrink for mda so he can get passed his mental block of tight rotations.

How about Curry, Chandler & some 2nd rounders for Camby & Miller? Maybe we can even include Douglas.

good luck changing MDA's mindset when it comes to his rotations... i don't think a hypnotist would have any luck either.

camby would be an unbelievable get for us. dude would make more of an impact in the W column than melo imo.

he is 36 though so i'm not sure what pieces we could give up that would make sense. chandler, curry for camby?

Now that's not a good deal. I would not give up Chandler.

Camby makes $11 million next year. No way Knicks take on this salary.
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

there's 2 scenarios where the Knicks won't value their cap flexibility in 2011... if Melo is traded to the Knicks, or if Melo is traded to another team.

If they're purging vets, you go for Andre Miller. He's signed for 2 more after, what, this season? Either way, you send Toney Douglas their way and you have a dope fresh point to back Felton up for our championship run.

Portland dumping vets, that screams Andre Miller to me.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

If we're going to cap out, I'd much rather trade for Iggy

Is Roy tradeable at all? If his knees are that bad, who has a worse contract?
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
