On Monday, Kelenna Azubuike participated in a five-on-five scrimmage for the first time since his left knee was operated on early last season.

No timetable for Azubuike's return to action has been announced.

Yeah, with fields playing so well, somebody has to goto the bench, and MDA does not look like he's comfortable play gallo at the 4.

It would be a crime to send fields to the bench

I think he is a long ways to go. He will be taking Walker's and TD minutes if he is ready. TD will now be primarily a PG sub.

I prefer AZ myself. I think he's gonna need time to get his timing back and the speed of the game. His shot may not be on target or maybe his lateral movement may not be there yet. I just can't wait to see tho, just what he can give us, cuz if he can get anywhere near his old form, he can help us. He's the only true SG we have. It's just real tough to be secure when a guy is coming off any kind of serious Knee surgery. I wish him the best.

It may take Az a little time to get his timing back and work back into basketball shape. I'd have him come off the bench to begin with and take it from there.

Hopefully he is young enough to recover from the surgery but I cringe every time a player gets their knee's sliced open. I hope he is good and can play but I really am not expecting much. It would be a nice bonus though.
