For the last two years the knicks have been playing for this year. They have traded away good players and not paid good players. They go out and overpay amare and sign felton. They have gallo who is the next Dirk and Wilson. All these guys are Walsh and mda guys. This team is a 35-40 win team. Is that what knicks fans were waiting for? This year your giving up the same amount of points as you did last Year. I really think unless you have 3 all stars this system won't work. This team needs accountability and you will never have it with mad coaching.

After what I heard at halftime I'm more inclined to believe its the coach. Someone should be able to get the most out of this team. Still early in the season but not encouraging.

This feels like semi-trolling now. You're here when the team isn't doing well after being gone all offseason and most of this season before Lee's return. Now the Warriors beat the Knicks and you have to rub in the Lee thing.

Amare is not overpaid. That's a contract he would get from anyone. I would still rather have Amare at his price than Lee at his price.

The fault here is on the coach. Walsh put together a better roster than his predecessors ever did.

Hey Dudley no one was going to give amare 100 million and I didn't mention lee. I am saying this isn't a good team Walsh has put together. I just think this team would be better with a different coach and gm. For the record I hope you get melo and I have no hard feelings he'll Walsh got lee 81 million dollars why would I not want the Knicks to do well.

Yes it is. It's a team that is better than 3-7. It just needs better coaching.

It's not always "fire everyone". Sometimes one guy is doing a good job and the other guy isn't. In this case Walsh did his job and D'Antoni isn't doing his.

D'Antoni has no system without Steve Nash.

So short of getting Nash, there is nothing else Walsh could do.

Mike didn't have a problem with the team in training camp. This was his type of team. He was happy with the players acquired. His style is just not good basketball without amazing players.

I totally agree with that. It Upsets me when the coach puts players in a position to fail because mda doesn't care about defense.

Wilson is an Isiah guy. This team is at best okay. I think 40 wins would be a great success. but that isn't going to happen.

I agree it is bull**** to be handed this nonsense after "The Plan".

I agree you need 3 stars for this system to work, and even then you get beat by teams that play a more solid style that also has stars.

I think you're rubbing it in a little King!

it certainly looks that way from the early going... we brought in a bunch of guys that can play some defense, penetrate, run uptempo & slash to the basket, but the coach wants everyone shooting 3's... if David Lee were still here he'd be a Troy Murphy clone right about now.

10 games after all-star break we will see what we have......

We played a good all around game tonight...... Lead was @ 16 at one point
but from what I saw was just bad officiating stopping our flow....

We missed some key FT's in the fourth Gallo went 1-2 and so did Chandler
Then Amare missed 2..... We hit 3 of those we win
2 we go to overtime

Just not there yet ...... Think we need time and better PG play

Felton is Key as is TD cause they touch the Ball a lot and really neither can
make the timely pass every time down....

Gallo was wide open a lot tonight and still I think needs to bring ball up more
and run a little P&R with Amare and Randolph....

Bad pass by Fields late but all in all dude is solid.... Not clutch yet but for 39th pick

Felton is not the right guy to bring ball up EVERY play...... Nor does he need to handle every play in Half court....

Walsh and need a PG to pull this all together .... Then Felton off the bench looks much better!!

Duke is the team to beat. But OSU looked good against an OVER RATED gator squad. Don't convince yourself otherwise.
Actually let us see what OSU does a week from Tuesday (30th) FSU has both to play two days apart

I believe this to be dead on. Perhaps the idea was to draft/acquire good fast defensive players who d'A could
teach offense. Who knows maybe they go on a tear and rip off three wins in a row. December looks to be a killer.

I can't believe you guy's are saying, walsh didn't bring in guy's that fit the system...Thats BS, cuase everybody on this board was praising Walsh for bringing in athletic guy's who can run dunk and block shots. Amare was shooting jumpers like clock work in preseason, TD shot 40% from DT in SL, chandlers jumper showed improvement, Felton's improvement from DT...Now all of a sudden, we don't have the players, becuase these guy's haven't put it together in 3 weeks...

So many of you were baffled at why they were going strong after rudy and shannon brown, ( who's having a awsome season so far) Anyone of those two would have been better the Mason.
