The team looks poorly constructed right now - I dont see how they cab pull it off without moving a piece but maybe I am wrong. Lebron/Wade need the ball all the time and Bosh is not a dominant big (he is good though). The supporting cast is where the real issues pop up. They have nobody but the big three. You can't win like that - see the Celtics/Lakers. Those teams are stacked from top to bottom. The Heat are paying 3 on 5.
They will win a lot of games but I doubt they will make a run at a championship this year. They certainly won't be winning 72 games and it looks like Lebron/Wade are going to have to eat their words about being scary good this year and ultra focused. I dont think they realized how focused the rest of the league would be on beating them.
Couple of stats i just read from Peter V...LBJ has no offensive rebounds in 9 games...the heat score the least amount of points in the paint then anybody in the league...bosh is avg just 6rbs pg.
Bosh can't clog the lane, as a matter of fact, wade and LBJ are such great iso players, that the rest of the team has to clear out on almost every possession.
Your right about the talent around them, it makes no sense. As long as those three are 75% of the cap, they'll never be able to get the role players they need.
