Berman talked about Darko wanting revenge. It will be interesting to see how he plays. In my opinion D'Antoni needs to learn how to take the high road with former players that didn't work out while they were under him. This quote is far from that.

When asked if he was surprised Milicic had reversed his career, D'Antoni remained defiant. "Nothing's reversed yet except he signed a contract," he said. "You can bust my chops later, but not yet."

Well, he's right.

Kahn giving him an insane contract based on basically nothing doesn't mean Darko is some revelation now. He's still the same player, except Kahn is just an idiot.

+1. Another example of a GM that needs protection from himself. Hence the CBA

I'm really not scared of what Darko is gonna do. I mean really. I hope Moz blocks his shot so hard that it knocks him on his butt. I want at least one Amar'e poster dunk as well. AH heck, let AR and Chan get in there too.

Was he right about Hill also? The guy needs to check himself. Maybe he should communicate with these guys when they are on his team.

What has Hill done in the NBA?

He was never given a chance on a 29 win team without its first round pick the following year. He averaged over 6 and 5 once he was given a chance in Houston. There is a great article about Hill after he became a Rocket where he was praised but Battier was quoted as saying it was like he lost a year of development in NY. That is on the coach. D'Antoni is known as a guy who is afraid of confrontations and struggles to communicate with his team. Why he finds it neccessary to put down guys that he either had conflicts with or mistreated after they leave doesn't make sense. He is supposed to be a marquee coach. He didn't need to go there again.

He's not that great a player. He'll put up some decent numbers at times, but he's mainly a good passer and can block a couple of shots. Other than that, he's not an impactful player. I still don't know why people got their panties in a bunch when MDA wouldn't play him. He got decent numbers on a real bad team. Big whop.

PLEASE! LB is also a premiere coach and he openly disses his players all the time. In fact most of the quotes of Mike are not direct dis, but could easily be taken that way.

Look. This is a coach that has had very good talent and he knows from experience what a good PF should be doing on the court. This is a guy that has good record and the guys that are really complaining have horrible track records with multiple coaches. Hill is a prospect and nothing more at this point. If he develops into something, then good for him, but i'm not gonna rag on the coach for not playing a kid that really may not be all that special to begin with. He has talent, which Mike admits, but heart is whole other thing. Work ethic and drive to be the best is another thing. You think after him watching Amar'e all those years it's easy for him to watch guys like Darko and Hill not give MAX EFFORT. See with all that you said you haven't looked at it from his point of view. Mike didn't have anything to prove, but Darko and Hill did. They didn't show him enough early on that that's a no no with Mike. Its a no no with a lot of coaches.

Thread title should be "Knicks vs. T-Wolves à Paris - Game thread deuxième partie : Allez les Orange et Bleu !!"

I'll be there, right at center court. I'll try to get in with a DSPR camera and a big zoom (Canon 70-200). It might be tough to get in with all the extra security, but i want to give it a shot ! If that works, I'll have great high res pics to share with you guys.

I'd like to see how they perform with NBA rules against an NBA team.....then I will start to gush over our defensive intimidation in the paint. Think we'll see more of the bench this game as Amare and Gallo will prolly play less minutes

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

agreed. there are multiple matchups of interest:

Mozgov vs Darko

Amare/AR vs KLove

Gallo/AR vs Beasley

we are stocked on the inside, we should be able to handle minnesota.
