I don't know about you guy's, but I have been so imprress my Amare and felton..what I have seen, what I've heard...man its like a breath of fresh air, its like a cold glass of water in the desert...

Now that we have a PG, a legitimate hard working franchise player, thats worth 10 more wins on its own..it makes a world of difference and its shocking how some NBA critics are not taking that into acct..or just simply not making a big deal about that..

Walsh is dfntly a GOODFELLA...

I definitely believe that being strong up the middle on any team brings a consistency that leads to wins. PG, PF/C are 2 key positions to any solid team. Felton/Amar'e is a good combo and a huge improvement over Duhon/Lee IMO. It may not seem like it stat wise, but that's an illusion. Amar'e is a more impactful player than Lee and it goes beyond the stats which seem so close and in some ways in favor of Lee. Lee also never really was able to exert any leadership and Amar'e is getting that respect from his teammates as THE MAN. He's a 5X All Star and a force so there's more of a level of respect for him and then he's showing the way in practice from day one. Felton being a leader is a huge plus. Duhon wanted that role, but since he was so weak on the court it took away from his authority. I believe Felton will be able to play well enough to command respect. I also think that the mental make up of the rest of the players is also very good. Guys like Turiaf, AZ all the way down to Rautins have good pedigree men, teammates and leaders.

Don't you also get the feeling that this is a more professional team this year? No more childish Nate Robinson types. It's all business, even thought they're having fun, it's not over the top and out of control. The team looks focused.

For his display of patience, vision for structure and a comprehensive strategy that defied the rumors and innuendo of both self-appointed wet fantasy experts and New York media hacks on deadline. For his contribution of a compelling new roster built for comfort and built for speed...

without drinking the koolaid there are a lot of things to like. When your starting PG is one of the better defensive PGs in the league (and certainly decent offensively) and your main scorer does so at > 55% your off to a good star. Then you have a LOT of size and athleticism on the court at all times. Thre bench guys arent just chuckers.. they are skilled guys that play both ends (TD, AR, Fields, Walker, whoever).

When you have size, talent, defense, good coaching... your going to be in every game.

Also I dont think people realize how good Amare is, how he's a legit star. WE are so used to hearing about how great the big aquisitions are, like Curry, Marbury, ZBO... I think we have all been a bit jaded.

Amare is a 5 time all star in the west where guys like Duncan, KG, Dirk, Gasol, etc were staples. Amare is that level of star.

That is pretty good....

I'm still going to question his cap clearing trades which could have netted more had he been a little more patient

Donnie Darkhorse (can't count him out)

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

I agree. Amare and Felton are ideal captains. They work hard and are professionals.
