I suggest we start a poll. Everyone pledge a dollar and we bet on exactly when will Eddy Curry get hurt and shut it down for the season. The person that has the closest prediction wins the pool.

My prediction:

Eddy Curry will tear a muscle on the second day of camp, he will be out for 4 weeks, he will play less than 10 minutes in one game about the second or third week of the season and tear another or the same muscle, and he will be done for the year.

Trust the Process

We will probably read that he tripped over the half court line at the first practice ( after borrowing Herb Williams Sneakers )and tore his Achilles tendon

Hopefully Amare inspires Eddy and he makes it back onto the court.

He probably wont get hurt but who cares about Eddy Curry?

Seriously, can we discuss something positive and not this POS? He's worthless to the team, healthy or not.

Won't make the week. His hammy will fold like a toilet seat. Not sure what that really means myself either but we get the point.

Got my "Miss Cleo" on this one!
Frank Isola: Eddy Curry is now a 3-time winner of The Jerome James Award for 1st training camp injury. He sat out the last drill with a tight hamstring 1 hours ago

Ha ha- at least this is the last year we have to go through this Eddy Curry farce- every year like clockwork:

1) Eddy claims he'll be working out during the offseason and may even play in the summer league
2) Eddy doesn't show up at Summer league
3) We hear vague reports that Eddy is working out with a personal trainer and is in 'great shape!'
4) Eddy turns up to training camp and people claim he's in great shape, but he doesn't look like it to you so you end up studying the photo's of him, your eyes are telling you he looks fatter than ever, but you tell yourself maybe it's a trick of the light.
5) Eddy starts training camp and is immediately injured- you realise that eddy's 'personal trainer' was actually an out of work actor he hired to portray a personal trainer.
6) Eddy misses the rest of training camp, doesn't make the rotation and then has the cheek to spend the season moaning and somehow blaming the coach for not playing him.

I don't understand how he never figured out that if he didn't come into training camp in shape, he'd get injured. I don't understand that with his career on the line and him facing bankrupcy, he wouldn't make the effort just this once in the hope of fooling another team. And I don't understand how he has the cheek to blame anyone other than himself for not playing.

Seems Eddy made it to three practices. He has a pulled hammy. Nothing new congrats to the one that predicted this. Oh by the way he reported 325lbs.

Yeah, 325 is all muscle. How can that be when his trainer is Ronald McDonald.

Anybody see how he had to wear his red jersey around his neck and under his arm and now actually on his body? Very surreal and sad, but that's Eddie Curry for you. I wonder what his NEW teammates think when they see him.

Eddy is so out of this league. I've hoped for him to show up and be in shape and have a solid year.

I understand that he may not be that motivated to show up for the Knicks since even if he came in at 290, MDA & this organization have made clear they've moved on without him. His only value is as a contract.

But, he should still be in shape because if he got his buy out tomorrow, what team is offering him more than vet min money, and what kind of impression does he make to that new team (maybe Minnesota is done stockpiling PGs) rolling in at that weight.

I feel bad for Eddy because clearly he is sensitive and hasn't adjusted to being a professional athlete.

I wonder if Oliver Miller left the league with any money?

Maybe he can take a financial planning course from Antoine Walker: How to get through Bankruptcy post NBA career.

I agree... someone will give him a 2 year $5mm deal next year though, even in his current shape. A 7 foot 55% scorer off the bench for 18-20 minutes a night isnt bad. He's gonna need the cash

hey... I said thats what they will sign him to be. Who says it will actually pan out? At 27-28 years old someone will give him a shot. Maybe a sized starved Miami so he can be with big brother LBJ
