a one year rental on Crawford could definitely fill the starting SG spot....but them again, would MDA go there again?

Something starting with a Curry for Crawford maybe?

I know Crawford was upset, but why would Atlanta just dump Crawford?

Should we offer it? We would have nothing to lose except for possibly insulting them.

Will the accept it? In my opinion no way.

Crawford is a 6th man he is not a starter. He is tailor made for that role. For some reason people like Jamal and what he brought to the table. He was a very medicore knick with some memorable game winners and scoring out bursts. He plays no defense and up until last season was one of the worst guards in the nba percentage wise.

He fills a need with them and won't just be traded for garbage. No at all costs. Wilson and Buke are fine.

I dont want Crawford back. My number one issue was he refuses to take contact when he drives. The guy would break his man down and get into the paint then throw up a floater or fade away from the rim.

Now if we traded for Melo then Crawford would be nice because we could resign him this summer.

The only problem with Jamal was that he was forced to do too much. Remember, he was not supposed to be the #1option at shooting guard. He was pretty much NY #1option when he should have been the backup 2. Don't blame the little guard that could for being asked to play Jordan when he was more Ben Gordon (not really but like the play on names and figure you guys know what I mean).

As a spark of the bench (6th man role) Jamal would shine. He proved in Atlanta that he can be a valuable contributor on a good team but on a bad,...his weaknesses were magnified.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

The guy can create his shot anytime he wants...and break some ankles

He can also create a lot of bad percentage shots any time he wants.
My biggest problem with him had always been his terrible shot selection, and his complete lack of defense.

If we need a guy to dribble like crazy behind the arc and launch a three, falling away, with someone in his face then Crawford will fill it! If Crawford was a good passer that would be another story but he isn't. Once he decides he wants to score that's it, for good or bad. Nice guy though.

He was sixth man of the year and we were 6-6 the last time he was here.

Anyone who doesn't think this guy can be part of the solution... I think he'd be great in a 2nd unit with Mozgov as a backline defender.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

it also coincided with the first time Crawford sniffed .500 ball as a Knicks player after 5 years with the team.

I thought he had a good relationship with D'antoni....you must be thinking of Don Nelson cuz Nellie hated Crawford.

Anyway...I mentioned Craw before. I think at this stage of the game Craw would be a welcome addition. Craw is a big shot maker. How many 4pt plays, and last second shots has he made in his career. That's something this current group could use...Roger Mason as the starter and Craw off the bench a la Manu Ginobili.

i would easily take Jamal for a 1 year rental if it only cost us Curry's expiring, a 2nd round pick & Rautins... i don't think ATL takes that package tho, they'd probably ask for Wilson Chandler at the bare minimum.

your much much better with Toney Douglas, who is 50x the defensive player than Crawford, and will be just as good a scorer.
