![]() BigSm00th wrote: thanks but it just doesn't compare at all to the original. seems like a lot of bands are covering the old stuff cuz all the material has dried up... there's nothing new & original coming out anymore these days... of course, there are a few exceptions... i think John Legend's stuff is interesting & Will Smith's little daughter Willow at 9 years old is already recording some good stuff... i think she's gonna be really good... but on the whole these days to me rock music, R&B, hiphop & electronic music is just regurgitation of stuff that's already been done. ![]() Good question, Why bother going into a thread about posting new stuff and making sweeping generalizations about today's music sucking? I honestly feel bad that you have reached a point where you can't find anything good to listen to anymore, that would drive me crazy. Instead of doing the opposite of what this thread was about maybe you should have waited a while to see what people post, maybe you would find something you like. I stayed on topic in your music thread, been contributing for weeks now. Not sure why you couldn't extend me the same courtesy. If you take that as being sensitive so be it. I'm not mad at ya TMS, just not sure why you felt to the need to do it so early in the thread. Peace.

![]() I just found my Fat Freddy's Drop album again. It is pure class, really. They're from New Zealand and their music is a mix of reggae/ska/RnB.
One of many great songs of theirs and the Jazzanova remix of Flashback is awesome They played here in Denmark some weeks ago and the opening artist they had with them was Dj Vadim. He's also something I recommend you guys check out. Legalize di NBA

Asian Dub Foundation is from UK, maybe you've heard of them.
Mos Dub: Dub Kweli: I suggest you check out both albums - Mos Dub is the best one of the two imo. Legalize di NBA
