here are mozgovs highlights vs the USA- i included lots of stuff, including the huge block on rose of course, but didnt put the shot he got blocked by durant nor did i put the jumper airball he shot!!
i think he played real good as he showed that he can compete with the nba players- despite the fact that he was being guarded by durant at the end of the game- he did most of the damage in the first half vs odom love and chandler. anyone who saw the game can tell that it was clear that when mozgov was on the court the russia was playing a lot better keeping the score close- but when he got into foul trouble- they were in the process of gettin blown out!!

***** ive also included a play where it was the first time ive seen a referee immediately admit and apologize for a wrong call he just made!! *****

mozgovs russia is playing argentina today for ranking clarifications and then its time for him to head to new york and put on a knick jersey!!

Awesome. I'm just happy we have someone who's going to contest guys going to the hoop. It's been a GLARING weakness for many years.

Thats the great thing about this offseason- we've not just added 1 player that can do this, but 4 of them- Mosgov, Amar'e, Anthony Randolph and Ronnie Turiaf- a big improvement.

I like it, from the highlights this guy doesn't look like a stiff. The block on Rose was sick, even if it was called. I hope he becomes a huge presence in the paint on the defensive end.

the thing is with a block like that- foul or no foul it does intimidate the other team and makes them think twice about driving in again- or when they do drive in they will be trying to elude mozgov therefore distracting them!!!

And people doubted Donnie! I think he has tried to solve our biggest issues and he made sure that even tho he was giving Mike the kind of players he needs that those players also were solid defenders. That's how you build a winning team. Timo was a really big coup for Donnie and his staff.

Timo is the first big man I've seen this tournament who was able to consistently bother and defend Odom off the face-up dribble. This guy's lateral quickness and mobility is much better than I anticipated.

yes true- although moz got burned by durant a few times he still tried his best to keep up with him considering his size - and we all know that durant is very quick for his 6'10- but durant doesnt carry a centers body- unlike mozgov

you know what, Durant did burn him a couple of times and Mozgov got him on a block once around the 3point line, but this is to be expected. When a center guards one of the best (if not THE best) SFs in the league at the 3point line, this is what is expected.

And you know what? When Timofy had Durant pinned on the low block later in the second half, he turned and dunked that ball hard!

David Lee whined about every call made against him or the air near him. It was actually amusing.

I like what I see - he will fit in nicely. This season has some potential, we wont be the best but we wont stink like we have in recent years. Hopefully these new guys pan out.

Might be the best Knicks highlight since Crawford's comeback turnover/steal/dagger trey against the Nuggies.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

this guy sure looks like he could be solid for us for a long time. Skilled big- we could sure use some good luck.

The guy is a foul machine. I can't see D'Antoni playing this guy any meaningful minutes this season. The guy tries but he reminds me of a less athletic Andre Jordan.

I think everything you said is pretty accurate but I don't see it as a negative. I love DeAndre Jordan's game and potential and I know he has a ways to go before he fulfills his natural talent. My concern with Mosgov is that I don't see D'Antoni playing him either. I think it is funny that everyone is so high on a guy that no other team even spent a draft pick on when the coach wouldn't play last years lottery pick. My hope is that Timofey's tenure with the Knicks is longer than D'Antonis.

Here are Turiaf's highlights for a whole year. Mozgov's gonna get PT.
