UPDATE: Dillman has this quote from Clippers GM Neil Olshey after McGrady's workout on Wednesday: "The workout and visit went well. Tracy will continue exploring his options and so will we."

While we won't rule out the Clippers entirely for T-Mac, there certainly doesn't seem to be any imminent signing here either -- which means the Bulls are still in play for him.

I wouldn't mind bringing him back for a year to help with our young guys. Even as gimpy as he was he is still better at SG than Azuibuke or Chandler. I guess he didn't get along with D'Antoni.

Do you expect Azuibuke to come back brand new this season after his season ending injury? He tore his patellar tendon.

If we want to make a playoff push we need some Savvy Vets. McGrady at SG for 20 minutes a night would be great for us.

Not a good sign when half of your highlight film is ordinary perimeter jump shots.

Because we have a 100 other swing men on the roster. Also because McGgrady is gimpy and is no PG.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Azubuike's injury is a concern, but who knows what kind of shape McGrady's leg is in?

He is a guy who needs to be controlling the ball, and in his prime he would almost play like a PG. We now have a PG.

He is not a consistent outside shooter, so he is not going to be your SG, and we have no idea if he will be able to guard people at any position, let alone SG- where you have some tough players to deal with.

The time where we would be interested in him has passed.

1. Because he's finished
2. He's not signing for vets min.
3. MDA doesn't like him
4. Would take valuable minutes from our young talent
5. Do i need to keep going?

I don't think Knicks management want to sacrifice sports section inches to McGrady again now Amar'e is here, but what do I know? I didn't mind him so much... seeing what we could squeeze out of him and Bender was mildly entertaining during a pretty lame season.

I meant McGrady can play SG for 20 minutes a night. McGrady might not be Michael Redd but the guy is definitely a better shooter than Azuibuke or Chandler.

Who cares if we pay him 5 million for a year? The guy is still effective even without his athleticism.

McGrady cannot carry a team but he can sure help a team like this.

He shot 39% from the field. I'm highly skeptical of the claim that he could play 20 mpg for an 82 game season also.
