no 1 hour long specials, no dancing on stage with his new teammates wearing his new uniform in some cheesy Vegas sideshow, just this:

LeBron could still do something like that. Give Amare credit though--2nd max contract by the age of 27--he's a good guy and you can tell.

Lebron has already burned his bridge, if i were a Cleveland fan i for sure wouldn't be interested in hearing any thank you's from his lips after the way he conducted himself w/the whole "taking my talents to South Beach" & dancing on stage with his new buddies in Miami in his new uniform on... he basically showed them his ass on the way out... if he had really wanted to thank the fans & organization for how he was treated while he was there, he would have handled things a lot differently... he's got a right to leave just like Amar'e or any other free agent, but there's a way to do it that doesn't make one look like a complete douchebag... Lebron clearly doesn't realize this.

He really is, just listening to him during the SL telecast, dude has got his head n tight, I wouldn't be surprise if he gets a max extension like patrick did at 32. high character guy. he handles the media very well, it's unfortunate David lee could play with him.

Really nice gesture. Makes me proud to have him on our team.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Even after the ugly end of the Shaq/Kobe Laker Dynasty, Shaq took out a newspaper ad in the LA Times thanking Lakers fans.

-- the preceding post was brought to you by the letter K and the number 22.

Class act!! Bravo A'Mare

In a diva laden NBA it's nice to acquire a class act!!

I believe this signing will go done as best move of the summer!

I see the Don feels like some others do about his rebounding hence getting
Randolph Turiaf and Mozgov ...... Along with Wilson and Gallo we should rebound
very well as a team!!

Felton has nose for the ball and rebounds well for a 1

All in all I'm thrilled with A'Mare and can't wait for season to start!!

KNICKS on the way UP!!!

I think this letter highlights the importance of having veteran leadership. Amar'e was a kid when he cam into the league, but he was lucky enough to have guys like Grant Hill, Steve Nash, Raja Bell, Quentin Richardson, Stephon Marbury and Paul Shirley to learn from and set examples -- good or bad. Even though Amare'e was key part of those Suns teams, he never had the burden of carrying and leading them all by himself.

However, Amar'e is known to be sensitive. Lets hope his skin has thickened over the years.

Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right. - The Tick

Well if he had 33 points and fouled out two players on the opposing team, to go along with 3 rebounds, im cool with that.

Man every player has ups and downs. I think Amar'e has proven that he has more ups than downs and that he can explode and carry a team for stretches of time. Imagine if we had a guy that wanted to be a leader and could do the things he can? Now we do and he can help to show the young guys how to play with Confidence and professionalism. I mean who did Randolph have to show him how to be a pro? Stephen Jackson? Monta Ellis? It's really hard for a young big like him to grasp certain things without positive influences in the lockerroom. Amare can help all of our young guys to gain a better understanding of just what they can do and how to carry themselves.
Amar'e's goodbye to Phoenix
